7. DISAPPOINTED KAVIN

'Purvi, agar yeh asli Kavin hua tho tab tum kya karogi..?' Shreya asked pointing at my DG.

'Mujhe laga tumhari aankhon mei patti bandi thi lekin aaj samajh aaya ki patti bandi nahi balki tum andhi ho..' My wife commented.

'Pari..' Daya sir raised his voice in an angry tone.

'Jo bol rahi ho zara soch samajh ke bolo..' Daya sir added.

'Agar aapne khud yeh baat 8 saal aur 2 mahine pehle ki hoti tho aaj hum dono aise nahi hote..' my wife replies and turns to leave.

'Lekin tumhe kaise pata ki yeh asli Kavin hai..?' Dushyant asks.

'Jin logon ki aankhen, kaan aur naak band hai vo zara khol do.. Vo kya hai na tab aap log samajh jaayenge ki kaun asli hai aur kaun nakli..' She says and was about to leave.

'Engagement ring..?' Ishita speaks looking at my finger.

'Vo mujhse kho gaya aur maine Shreya ko yeh baat bataya tha..' My doppelganger (dg) says.

'Ha..' Shreya replies supporting my DG.

I looked at my wife as my mind was continuously thinking that if my Dg wore the ring, my wife will support him. My wife looked back at me and then she went near Shreya.

'Shayad tum apne bhai ko nahi pehchaan sakti lekin mai apne pati ko achchhe se pehchanti hu..' She says.

'Agar tumhe yaad hai tho Kavin ko perfume se allergy hai tho tumhe pata chal jaayega ki kaun asli hai aur kaun nakli..' She adds.

Suddenly my nose hits a strong perfume due to which I sneeze continuously. My wife handed me a handkerchief and asked the cops to take them. Purvi leaves inside the kitchen and after sometime she asks me to take a steam.

Purvi left to our room while I looked at my family members. I was really disappointed with Shreya and Dushyant for not knowing who is a doppelganger.

'Agar Purvi ne mujhe nahi pehchaana hota tho mai tho jail mei chakki pees raha hota..' I said being upset. I was really so disappointed that I stopped talking with them. I only wanted to talk with my wife but she doesn't want to talk with me. Like this, few days passed.

We were in bureau working when ACP sir asked Purvi to submit few files in HQ. She left and then sir asked Abhijeet sir, Daya sir and me to come to his cabin. We went inside and I locked the door as per sir's order.

'Purvi ko manana hai na tum teeno ko..?' sir asked.

I understood that I should make everything clear between me and my wife but why is sir asking Abhijeet sir and Daya sir the same thing, I didn't get it. So, I looked at ACP sir.

'Abhijeet, Daya mujhe sach mei tum logon se yeh umeed nahi thi..' ACP sir said.

'Jhagda tum logon ke beech hua tha tho isme Purvi ki kya galti thi..? Tum dono ne use chod diya..?' Sir added making me astonished.

'Sir, aap nahi jaante ki Daya ne us waqt mujhse kya kaha.. Mai nahi chahta tha ki vo gusse mei aake Tarika ko kuch keh de jisse ki unhe takleef ho..' Abhijeet sir replied.

'Sorry keh raha hu na Abhijeet.. Mai us waqt gusse mei tha.. Tum samajh sakte ho na.. Bhagwaan na kare aisa ho lekin agar tum khud ko meri jagah rakh ke dekho tho tumhe samajh aayega..' Daya sir said.

'Lekin tumhe is tarah baat nahi karna chahiye tha.. Pata hai na kitna hurt hota hai..' Abhijeet sir said.

'Keh diya maine gusse mei ki tumhare paas tumhari biwi aur bachchha hai.. Maafi maang raha hu na..' Daya sir said.

'Bas karo tum dono.. Maana ki tum dono ke beech jhagda hua lekin thoda time ke baad tho ladna band kar ke thode thande dimaag se sochte tho shyaad aaj Purvi tum dono se khafa nahi hoti is tarah..' ACP sir said.

'Ghar ka mahool thik nahi hai aur ab bureau ka.. Ek waqt tha jab aap log khande se khande milate the aur saath chalte the.. Aur ab dekho, khanda milana tho dur ki baat, ek dusre ki aor dekhna bhi pasand nahi karte..' ACP sir added.

'Khair, tum logon ko jo karna hai karo.. Lekin ek baat yaad rakhna ki agli baar jab bhi tum mei se kisi ka jhagda ho na tho ghar chod kar na jaaye..' ACP sir said in a serious tone.

Abhijeet sir and Daya sir stood there with their head down.

'Tum log Purvi se turant jaake maafi maango.. Tum logon ne use tab chod diya tha jab usko aap logon ki zaroorat thi..' ACP sir continued.

Abhijeet sir and Daya sir left from there and I also turned to leave but ACP sir ordered me to stay because he didn't talked yet to me what he wanted to talk.
