Chapter 10

Norman soon arrived in the castle. He was greeted by Anna and Miranda who were waiting in front of the door.

"Big brother! Are you okay? Do you need anything?" Anna asked.

Norman smiled wearily at her. "Yeah. I need a doctor to check on me and a shower." Norman said as he wobbly walked into a room and laid down on the bed.

He took a shower and the doctor soon came and tended to his wounds and bruises.

Once his wounds are bandaged up, he went to where Ray was sleeping.

He was surprised when he saw Ray waiting for him in front of the door.

Ray saw Norman and limply walked to him. "Norman. I'm so glad your okay." Ray smiled as he hugged Norman.

Norman inhaled Ray's scent which made him calm down. "Yeah. I'm okay. Thankfully, your okay too." Norman smiled.

"I was so worried about you. I couldn't sleep knowing that you were still out there. Looks like you also got some wounds huh?" Ray said as he looked at Norman.

"Yeah. But its not that major. Hang on. You should be resting! Come on, let's go back inside." Norman smiled as he helped Ray walk.

Ray sat down on the bed, Norman put aside his crutches. He helped put Ray's injured leg on the bed and soon laid down beside him.

Ray slowly laid down on his side and looked at Norman. He cupped Norman's cheek and stroked his cheek with his thumb.

Norman nuzzled his cheek onto Ray's hand. "I'm glad you're safe, Norman. I thought I would never see you again. You took your time in coming back. I was worried." Ray said sadly as he kissed Norman on the forehead, nose, cheek bone, and lips.

"Yeah. I was worried also. But here I am! In your arms. Which makes me happy." Norman smiled.

Ray laughed softly and pulled Norman close to his chest. "Let's sleep now. We're both tired. Goodnight, hon. I love you~." Ray smiled and closed his eyes.

"Goodnight, sweetheart. I love you too~." Norman smiled and soon fell asleep. While the sun rose and they are both in each other's arms, soundly fast asleep.

Days have passed and they were back in their house, Ray was outside reading a book enjoying the cool late afternoon breeze.

He felt something touch his leg. He looked down and saw Lucas was sitting on his foot. Grinning at him.

"Pa~!" Lucas grinned as he held his arms out to Ray.

Ray chuckled. He closed the book that he's reading and placed Lucas on his lap.

Lucas was clapping his hands and giggled as he sat on Ray's lap. He slightly touched Ray's injury which made Ray flinch.

Ray positioned Lucas a bit farther away from his injured thigh.

Lucas was confused at first, but continued to look at Ray and grinned.

Ray laughed softly at Lucas as he and Lucas started to have a very cute conversation.

Norman was hanging the laundry when he saw the very cute and wholesome sight.

Norman smiled at them. He then saw that his other four kids, went over to Ray and joined in with their conversation about random things.

Ray is working at home while Norman is spending time with the kids and with his baking business.

Norman was enjoying the lovely sight when he saw a car park in front of the house.
