Chapter 12: Let's have fun in the sun! Part 2

"MOMMY!!!!!"

Norman stood up immediately and ran to where the kids were.

"What's wrong? Are you all okay?" Norman panted.

"Mommy! There's a monster under the house!!!!" The girls screeched as they all clung onto Norman's pants.

Norman was confused at first and soon saw a dark, gloomy figure. It was slowly walking towards them.

Norman held the kids tight and shouted. "RAY!!!!!!!!"

"What's wrong?! Why are you all shouting?! Woah!" Ray shouted as Norman and the kids hid behind Ray.

"Th-there's s-something there!" Norman stuttered.

"Where?" Ray asked.

"There! It hid behind that wall! Hurry!!!!" Norman whimpered.

Ray arched an eyebrow and walked to where Norman was pointing at.

"Ray? Are you okay?" Norman asked.

"Norman! Its fine. I know who that "monster" of yours is." Ray said laughing.

"Why are you laughing? What's so funny?" Norman asked.

"Look." Ray said still laughing.

Norman looked over and saw their youngest child, Lucas covered in seaweed, giggling.

"Hi Mommy! Rawr~!" Lucas giggled.

Norman breathed out a sigh of relief. "Stop laughing, Ray!" Norman pouted.

Ray wiped the tear on his eye. "I'm sorry. Its just that you were screaming to the top of your lungs because of Lucas." Ray laughed.

"Whatever! Lucas! How did you even get that thing on you?" Norman asked as he bent down to pick up Lucas and placed him on his hip.

"Under house." Lucas said.

"You found it under the house? Amelia. Didn't I ask you to watch over your brother while we're eating?" Norman asked.

"Yes. Sorry. We got distracted by the pretty sea shells that Auntie Anna collected yesterday." Amelia said as she bowed her head.

Norman sighed and bent down to kiss her on the head. "Its okay. But next time, be responsible and watch over your siblings properly, okay?" Norman smiled as he patted her head.

Amelia nodded and beamed brightly. "Un! Okay Mommy!"

Norman sighed as he went back inside. With the kids.

"Its one of the kids doing, isn't it, big brother?" Anna asked as she gave Norman some tea.

Norman sighed as he sat back down. "Yeah. Lucas scared the life out of me." Norman said as he sipped some tea.

Ray sat back down beside Norman and he let Norman rest his head on his arm.

"Say big bro. I like your outfit by the way." Anna smiled.

"Oh. Thanks? Its just one of Ray's hoodies. I know its a bit weird to wear one especially that its summer, but its comfortable." Norman blushed as he sank into the hoodies scent.

Anna grinned. "Its more on, a boy-er...husband hoodie. Man, I'm excited to actually wear one of Nat's shirts or something! But oh well, being an alpha isn't easy, right Ray?" Anna grinned.

Ray took a bite from his toast and only grunted in response.

'He's still pissed.' Both Norman and Anna thought.

"Dad. Can we go out for a walk? Please?" Astrid asked.

"No. Its already 10. Its too hot now. Maybe later in late afternoon, okay?" Ray smiled.
