Chapter 18: Family Time and Rescue

Norman woke up to the noise outside. He peeked through the window and he saw Ray and the kids playing in the snow.

Norman got up, he grabbed his coat and scarf. He went downstairs and saw that Ray, Nat and the kids are having a snowball fight.

He walked beside Anna who is carrying Lani and her 4 month old daughter and is only watching them play.

"Hey Anna. Morning." He greeted happily.

"Hey big bro! Morning!" Anna replied.

Lani started to squirm when Norman arrived and Anna pouted. "Aww. You don't want to be with Auntie anymore?" She whimpered.

Norman laughed softly. Anna placed Lani into Norman's arms and he stopped squirming.

He cooed as he smelled Norman's pheromones and slept again.

Anna peeked over and smiled. "He's so cute! I mean, ever single one of your kids are cute."

Norman laughed softly. "I get it Anna. Thanks for the compliment." He smiled.

Norman looked down lovingly at Lani and he placed a kiss onto his cheek.

Lani smiled a bit and cooed. Norman laughed softly and he and Anna watched their husbands playing with the kids.

Anna sigs sadly. "Man. I also want to play. But I'm taking care of my precious little baby." She said as she rubbed her cheek against her daughter.

"Its okay Anna. I can keep you company." Norman smiled.

"Thanks big bro." Anna smiled back.

"Mom!" The kids shouted and they all ran towards them.

"Auntie Anna!"

The kids shouted and they all hugged the both of them.

Norman and Anna smiled back at them. "Morning kids!" Norman and Anna said in unison.

Ray and Nat walked up to them and smiled. "Morning Norman. Sorry I didn't wake you up. You were sleeping so soundly." Ray said and he leaned down to kiss Norman on the temple.

Norman smiled back. Nat greeted Norman and Anna good morning and he kissed Anna on the cheek.

He stroked Shiloh's cheek and smiled down lovingly at here.

"You guys really had fun playing in the snow huh?" Norman asked the kids with a smile.

The kids smiled back brightly and nodded. "Yeah! Its fun! Wanna play Mom?" Astrid asked.

"No thanks. I'll pass." Norman smiled.

"Did you eat already Norman?" Ray asked.

"Not yet. After I woke up, I went down here immediately." Norman said.

"Oh okay. Let's go to the kitchen so that you can eat." Ray said as he grabbed his hand.

"How about you Anna? Did you eat already?" Nat asked. "You also woke up late." Nat added.

"Yeah. I went to the kitchen earlier. But now I kinda want to eat something again." Anna said shyly.

Norman chuckled softly and he gently patted her shoulder. "Its okay Anna. Come on. Let's go eat." Norman smiled.

Anna beamed brightly and nodded. "Yeah! Let's go!" Anna said as she walked beside Norman.

After Norman and Anna ate, they both placed their babies in their own cribs and slept.

While they went to the library.

"Man. To think that we used to hang out here in the library and we would set up the tent that Mom bought for us and we would have a sleep over here in the library.
