Ray went inside the house and looked for Norman. Norman is in the room feeding Lani.

Norman's back was turned against Ray. He turned his head and smiled. "Hi Ray. Give me minute. I just need to change Lani's diaper." Norman smiled.

Ray nodded and he closed the door and locked it. Once Norman finished changing Lani's diaper he sat down and was putting Lani to sleep.

Norman looked at Ray and he saw that Ray looks stressed and is like standing on a thin thread.

"What's wrong, Ray? Is something going on?" Norman asked with a worried expression and tone in his voice.

Ray closed the the curtains and sat beside Norman.

He looked around and he casted a soundproof spell around the room.

Once he finished casting the spell, he then spoke. "Norman. We're leaving tonight." Ray said.

"What?! Why? What's going on?" Norman asked.

Ray sighs. "Abbey's Dad is going to rat us out to the hunters.

We need to leave tonight, because tomorrow I won't be able to see you all ever again." Ray said sadly.

"Ray. Why? I'm confused." Norman said.

"They're going to send me out and do some errand and while I'm gone, all of you will be sold off or possibly be killed." Ray said as his voice trembled.

Norman held Ray's hand and he cupped Ray's cheek. "Ray. Calm down. You getting stressed won't help.

Don't worry, I'll listen to what you say. So what do we do?" Norman asked as he stroked Ray's cheek with his thumb.

Ray took a deep breath and he placed his forehead onto Norman's. "Okay. You pack, but pretend that you're arranging our things. Try not to alert Abbey's brother or father." Ray said.

"Is Abbey on our side?" Norman asked.

"Yes. She is. She's silently helping us. We'll leave tonight when everyone is in deep sleep.

Abbey will prepare our vehicle and I'll carry the kids into the vehicle. You'll also go there quietly.

We don't want them killing us. Also, if the kids ask, you slowly explain it to them and tell them to not tattle. Because if they did, we'd all die." Ray said.

Norman sighs. "I got it. Also, shouldn't you rest up? Is your magic energy okay? I can give you some." Norman said with a concerned look.

Ray smiled. "Don't worry about me. Also, you shouldn't give me any magic. You need more than me.

You can rest up. I'll call the kids in and tell them to rest as well. Just rest, okay?" Ray said as he planted a kiss on Norman's cheek.

Norman smiled. "Okay. Be careful." Norman said.

Ray smiled. "Don't worry. I will." Ray said and he caressed Norman's cheek.

Ray removed the the soundproof magic and left to do his work.

Night rolled in and Ray is finishing the remaining chores. He went inside and Abbey's Dad greeted him. "Ray. Can you go out tomorrow and do an errand for me?

You need to leave early tomorrow. Understand?" He said as he showed Ray the list that he will need.

Ray kept his poker face on and he took the list from his hand. "Sure. I'll do that." He said nonchalantly.

'Looks like those hunters will arrive here early in the morning.

We have to wait until midnight before we can leave. I hope Abbey is really on our side.' Ray thought.
