Buddy, Daddy's assigned at Boston and we'll be having our flight next week. This is prolly the shortest vacation we have. Anyways, I'll tell you about something since I couldn't sleep.

Daddy's preparing a hot pot right now for a simple celebration since Mommy got a new job in Sohee's current school. It's a party for us but not for Sohee because she should calm her butt off in school considering that Mom will be all eyes on her there.

Mom's going to be a CCTV supervisor in their school. Since cases of bullying is rising too fast nowadays, my sister's school which is a private one had put on a lot more surveillance cameras.

"So Sohee-ah, you better watch out huh? Each rooms will have its own surveillance cameras already. I'm all eyes on you, even in the corner of the bathroom and under the table of the library." Mom stated with her eyes sharply looking at Sohee. Sohee isn't actually a bothersome but sometimes her ego makes her prone to highschool fights.

As far as I know, she's with Sol in every fights she had with other students.

"Mom, I'm a good student, I swear." Sohee said, not wanting to be defeated in one go.

"Yeah I know but sometimes you're not." Mom did an eye roll while chewing a piece of mushroom, "Don't you ever forget, Sohee. I'm just there sitting on my swivel chair and watching every happenings together with three more assistants."

"Jesus, Mom." Sohee looks at her, too fed up of Mom's mouth. "Ask your youngest whether she's doing great in school too. She might not know how to interact with people already." Sohee nags.

Mom looks at me but I shrug in return and sips some soup. My eyes averted at Dad who's looking at me that's why I let out a smile.

"Not know how to interact with people? So what are we, Sohee-yah? Can you please stop changing the topic just so you could run away from it?" Mom keep nagging. Poor Sohee can't even take a bite of the chicken skewer on her plate.

"Well, can I go now and laugh with Sol and Yeji instead?" she sarcastically says as she puts her chopsticks down.

"You're being a bothersome in our neighbors house. You're growing old, Sohee. You're not a kid who could run there just to play with the Hwang sisters. You should change that habit and get a life." again, Mommy's never ending saga of nagging the poor one.

Sohee's eyes shifted at me that's why I quickly took my gaze away, "Get a life like Ryujin who've gotten her life at the age of 8? She didn't enjoy much of her life, Mom. Do you want me to end up like that?" Sohee pointed me that left me in awkward situation. "Look at that. She don't know how to speak. She only knows how to react. Do you want me to be like that for real?"

"Aish! Go and eat your dinner, stop ruining the celebration here. Our neighbors might come in a sudden and be welcomed by our quarrel." Mom stood up to go to the kitchen.

So she invited the Hwang family?

"Your Mom's getting old so bear with her, Sohee." Dad mumbled.

"She's always been like that since you started bringing Ryujin with you. You shouldn't have tolerated Ryujin before, Ryujin can get used to not seeing you if you didn't tolerate her tho." Sohee commented that's why I pouted.

"It's fine, aren't I bringing you sometimes too? It's not a burden for me so it's fine. I'll be worrying forever if I find out that my baby is crying because of me." Dad looks at me so I smiled.

Sohee was still about to speak when we heard knock from the door. I got up to walk towards the living room and see if it's the neighbors that Mom invited.

But to my surprise, they're already in the front door. Mom prolly left the door unlocked in purpose. Sol and Yeji are standing next to each other whilst their Mom is in front, holding boxes of foods.

Not knowing what to do, I quickly approaches them with an anxious smile. My hands are shaking while taking the boxes of food from their Mom's hands.

"Oh hi! Come, let's eat in the dining area before the food gets cold." Mom stated who's at my back.

"I actually brought some foods that we could enjoy together too." Yeji's Mom said. They walked their way first before us. I'm left with them two but suddenly, Sol unnie started walking faster, maybe to see Sohee.

Now, I'm left here with Yeji.

"Hi, your name's Ryujin, right?" she asked so I shyly nodded, "Can you remember the last play we had? Now it's slowly getting boring to play, we're getting old I guess. Sadly we only played a few times because you're always on a trip with your Dad." she said. I don't know if she even breathed.

"But still, I think I know a lot about you. Sohee never failed to talk about you when we got nothing to talk to. You love music and tattoos, right? You're a good artist too." Yeji stated again as our walks became slower and slower, "I didn't know that you're a good listener too huh? You sure got a lot of talents. You're a complete package I think, no wonder why Sohee kept bragging about you being her sister."

Aside from Yeji telling those, I'm happy that I'm able to listen to her voice for a little bit longer after one long year.

Her voice is angelic, right?
