Chapter 7

After telling those incidents to Mark, the boys started to stay close by the girls’ side, looking out for them so they won’t be hurt anymore. Everytime Ahyeon and Yoobi will go to the washroom, one or two of the boys will come will to the boys’ washroom as well and will just go out and wait for them outside. Yoobi felt really safe and so, she got enough sleep everyday.

“No, Jackson. I can’t.” Ahyeon said.

“Just tell her you will go with her to see a movie then leave her there because you have an emergency to attend to. Then later on, I will arrive and ask her to just go with me. Or tell her beforehand that you can call me to stay with her.”

“What? You’re too funny.”

“Funny? What’s funny with that? Come on. I will set you up with my brothers, too. Anybody from them that you like.”

She suddenly remembered what happened on the White Day.

*Flashback*

“I don’t like you, Ahyeon. I love you.” Mark told her. Ahyeon remained silent and was just looking at Mark’s eyes. “I know this was so sudden but, I just thought, I already had to tell you. The other boys are already making a move to get closer to you, but I can’t.”

Ahyeon’s mind was blown and now she can’t seem to be able to speak anymore. She just curved her eyerbows.

“You know, you don’t have to tell me your response today. And I know, I’ve been harsh on you. I just don’t like to be too obvious about what I feel for you. I even planned on not telling you this until we graduated from college, but now you know it. And you need to know that I know it is hard to love a person like me because of my attitude. I seem cold, but when I love, I love really hard.” He said, making her more surprised.

*End of flashback*

Ahyeon did not expect that Mark actually liked her… Correction. He said he loves her.

“I know Mark already confessed to you.” Jackson started mentioning about it.

“What? N-no. No, he didn’t.” Ahyeon stuttered and blushed so she had to look to the other direction.

“They why are you suddenly so nervous? And look at you!” then Jackson forced her to face him. “You are blushing! Do you like him too?”

“What? No. Can you just stop Jackson? The more you annoy me, the more I don’t like to set up my best friend with you.

The day quickly ended like their classes are just an hour for each subject. Ahyeon felt relieved that the day ended quickly and safe.

“Let’s go, Ahyeon?” Yoobi said and they left the room together.

“Where are the boys? I thought they would be walking us home?” Yoobi asked.

“Bambam said JB, Mark and Jackson had a surprise practice game today. So Youngjae, Yugyeom and Jinyoung opted to stay than to go home, as well as Bambam.” Ahyeon explained.

“Ah, okay. After all, boys would still choose what they really like, huh?” Yoobi said.

“I told you, they are not serious at all. Besides, only Mark told me his feelings. I don’t think the others just like JB like me. And I don’t really like a lot of boys liking me. Just thinking about it stresses me.”

“Why? Are you feeling happy? Lucky? There would be five or more boys that would be helping you, guarding you.”

“Hello? That would be a stress! How would the others feel if I actually chose one of them? So, no. I would totally not like any of them.”
