Chapter 14

Ahyeon kept thinking about what she should do for Hyeri. Hyeri have been skipping classes since then. It was a bad habit of Hyeri that she changed for quite a long time when she became closer to Yoobi and Ahyeon.

Ahyeon then have decided to persuade Hyeri this time so she visits her in her house everyday after their classes. Ahyeon would be sitting in front of Hyeri's house until she goes out of their house to meet Ahyeon. However, that never happened. Ahyeon stays in front of Hyeri's house for almost three hours while waiting for her to go out.

She rings the doorbell twice but no one ever did went out of the door to ask her or talk to her.

"Yoobi-ah..." Yoobi carefully turned her head to Ahyeon upon hearing her voice. "What do you should I do? I've never had the chance to talk to her. She never gave me a chance." Ahyeon added.

"What happens everytime you go to her house?" Yoobi asked.

"Nothing."

"Nothing?" Yoobi repeated and Ahyeon nodded. "How about her parents?"

"No one from her family went out to talk to me." Ahyeon said.

Ahyeon sighed as she stared at her paper. "Nothing's working out well."

 Ahyeon quietly sat on the spot where she usually is while she waits for Hyeri to show up. She carefully focused her eyes on the window in front. "That must be her room." She whispered to herself after seeing the yellow floral curtains.

Suddenly, a light from the small opening of the door showed. "Okay. I'm leaving!" She heard a guy loudly said.

Then Ahyeon spotted a tall guy walking out of the house of Hyeri. She noticed her pointed nose and not so big eyes. She had an idea who he was.

"Excuse me! Excuse me... mister." Ahyeon said hurriedly while following the guy who just came out of Hyeri's house.

The guy turned his head around and looked at Ahyeon. "What?" he angrily asked.

Ahyeon noticed that he was in his uniform and on his way to his work. "I wanted to ask if... you know Hyeri's favorite food or what she often buys outside to eat."

Hyeri's brother shook his head and shrugged his shoulders, "We never went out. Ask her yourself. She's inside." And without saying good bye, he just left.

Ahyeon went back to the place where she was sitting and looked up to the window in front of the house.

*Flashback*

"Ahyeon, you are the youngest in your family, right?" Yoobi asked.

 

Hyeri nodded and smiled, "I have two older brothers."

 

"That's cool! I always wanted to have an older brother!" Ahyeon said and chuckled, "But Juhyeon eonnie always acted like an older brother. I'm grateful she still got a boyfriend." Making the other two girls laugh.
