Chapter 12

After the serious conversation they had, Ahyeon and Hyeri became close to each other and probably comfortable together. So, Ahyeon have decided to introduce Hyeri to Yoobi, who was waiting for her at the school gates.

Ahyeon fetched Hyeri from her room so that hyeri won't be able to hide from her.

"Ya! Not because I let you listen to my story today, that means we are already friends." Ahyeon remembered what Hyeri said. She knows it was only a joke.

"LEE HYERI!" Ahyeon loudly said as she scanned the half empty class room. "There you are!" She happily said and pointed at the corner of the room where Hyeri is.

She pulled Hyeri up from her chair, and be forced her to go with her.

"Yoobi!" Ahyeon said as she greeted Yoobi with a big embrace. "This is Lee Hyeri, and Hyeri she is Lee Yoobi."

"Hi! It's nice meeting you!" Lee Yoobi said shyly but showed her a bright smile. Hyeri just smiled at her in return.

The three girls agreed to have a sleep over at Ahyeon's house.

Ahyeon prepared her bedroom for the girls and brought midnight snacks too to munch while they talk about several matters.

"I was surprised you actually came with us! I thought you would reject our request, Hyeri." Yoobi said and took a bite from her newly cooked dumplings.

"Well, this is something new for me too. So why not try it, right? And I just thought it would be fun after seeing the two of you having fun even when you two are alone together." Hyeri said making the two girls smile.

Ahyeon faked a smile, and started talking, "Hyeri, I am just curious about some things. Do you mind me asking a few things?"

"Questions? I guess, it's fine. Go one." She coolly said.

"Then, I'll start." Ahyeon said as she fixed the way she sits. "About school... I've heard what you did and your side about that issue with Minhee. May I know why you actually bully the kids?"

"Bullying, can you ask other things other than that? I feel like I'm being interrogated by a teacher right now." Hyeri said so Ahyeon immediately apologized. "Then, can I ask you something about your family?" Hyeri nodded so Ahyeon continued. "How is your relationship with your family? I mean, are you close with all of them? Are you the youngest?"

"First, I am the youngest. I have two older brothers and one older sister. I am not really close with them and neither one of my brothers and sister is close to our parents." She said calmly.

"Why?" Yoobi asked.

"The reason is... they watched us grow old separately. Well, Dad comes home once a month. He'll be bringing clothes and a few new things but I can't remember anything I got from him." She took out her phone that was already hidden under her pillow, "Even this mobile phone, I got this on my own from my part time job."

"Cool!" Yoobi and Ahyeon said in unison.
