It was a warm summer evening. Alpha Renald and his Luna Tammy celebrated their daughter Lana's 5th birthday. The whole pack attended the celebration. There was a lot of food, dancing and even live music. Everyone enjoyed the celebration. The Silver Moon pack was one of the most harmonious packs.
Everyone loved and respected alpha Renald and Luna Tammy. Alpha was strict but caring and kind. And Luna was always there when she needed to help someone, even if only to talk, but she was brave and fearless enough to fight for her people.
They loved their only daughter very much. Luna had a problem, she couldn't conceive. They fought for 10 years to have a pup, but they never gave up, they really wanted at least one. Alpha had always dreamed of a son who would one day inherit the Alpha title, but Moon Goddes had different plans. She gave them a daughter.
After so many years of struggle, gender no longer mattered to them, whether they had a girl or a boy, as long as he/she is alive and healthy. Luna gave birth to the most beautiful baby girl with bright green olive eyes and silvery white hair, which was special because legend has it that only Moon Goodes possess such hair color, and rarely exsisted a wolf with green eyes. Lana's eyes was changing color. When she was upset or angry her eyes become emerald dark green, and when she was calm and happy they where olive light green. So they knew their little girl was special, but they didn't know why.
Unfortunately they won't live long enough to see how special their little girl really is. Every Lana's birthday was a big celebration. The whole pack was invited and everyone celebrated. She was the only daughter and only heiress of Alpha Renald.
As the celebration slowly drew to a close, one of the warriors which was guarding the border, rushed all bloody and exhausted, still in his wolf form, and fell in front of everyone, barely alive he couldn't speak to warn his pack. Alpha Renald rushed over to him and asked him what the hell had happened. No one expected this. This was supposed to be one of the nicer evenings, yet it was their daughter's birthday. The warrior on the edge of life could not open his mouth, he told everyone through a mind link: "We are under attack. Everyone at the border is dead. RUN!"
When he said everyone was dead at the border, Alpha Renald turned pale. He knew very well what that meant. Half a warrior guarded the borders, if they were all dead, he knew they had no chance of saving the pack. The pack began to panic, it was chaos. Alpha and the other warriors quickly shiffted into their wolves. They wanted to go to the place where the attack happened. Just as they were about to leave, they heard a loud trembling like a stampede of elephants coming in the distance, Alpha looked at his Luna and told her through a mind link: " You know what to do, hide women and children, took care of our daughter, this is gona be a bloodbath!"
Luna immediately told her sister Danielle to shift into her wolf, put her daughter on her back and said to protect and guard her with her own life and to run as far away as she could. Luna knew as much as she loved her daughter she could not leave her pack, not in a situation like this.
Luna gave her daughter a necklace with a Ruby stone and said "I love u bee, I always will, aunt Danielle will take care of you, be safe my baby girl, mama loves u." That was the last time Lana saw her parents and her pack. Aunt Danielle immediately started running to the other side of the territory of the Silver Moon pack as fast as she could. The attackers killed almost the entire pack. they spared women and children, retained some and lowered their position to Omega or to slaves, some of them was sold. Lucky was the one who managed to escape, although they would become a rogue, and try to start again, of course if they were not killed by other packs if they stepped into territory they were not allowed to enter.
Fortunately Aunt Danielle knew the territories of the other packs very well and easily avoided them so she wouldn't put herself and her niece in danger.
It was one of the bloodiest and most brutal fights ever known to have taken place among the packs. The only question remain... Why?
