Nocholas POV

We finally arrived in Highseen. There were more of us than last year, twice as many. Some I recognized and some I didn't, but I guessed with what intention we came. To find our Mate.

I told my father via mind link that we had arrived, safe and sound. This year, somehow everything smelled like strawberries and mint. "She's here." "Who's here Kane?" "Mate." He started bouncing in my head like a little kid when he gets a new toy. I smelled the air and smelled the tastiest, most delicious scent my nostrils had ever smelled, my mouth began watering uncontrolled.

I barely prevented Kane from taking control and claiming her as ours. We still had to wait until midnight. But the very thought that she was here and that I would finally meet her made me more excited than I was. Lucas and I agreed to separate, since I had already smelled my mate, I just needed to find her. After a while, all the wolves started howling ready to hunt, Kane and me too.

It was 5 to midnight. They all turned into their own wolves, and I have to notice my wolf Kane was the biggest of all. The bell rang. Everyone started to run towards the forest, Lucas and I parted. Kane frantically started running through the woods looking for our mate. After 10 minutes Lucas told me via the Mind link that he and some she wolf are fighting with 5 wolves who were definitely not here to find their mate and that they needed my help.

As I ran and followed her scent, I recognized Lucas from afar fighting two wolves, and then I saw her. The smell of strawberries and mint was getting stronger. That's her, my mate. I realized that my mate was fighting two wolves one on her back and the other under her. She was fearless, I fell in love on the spot. Kane was furious, who dared touch his Mate let alone hurt her. I gathered all the power inside me and knocked out the wolf from her back, breaking his neck like a twig. I turned and looked at her.

All the forces of this world have drawn me to her. Very quickly she overcame the wolf she was fighting and looked at me. She probably felt the same way. At the same time we said out loud. Mate.

Lana's POV
He rushed over to me. He was worried, his wolf started sniffing and licking me, Ruby couldn't help but giggle. His wolf was huge, bigger than me, black as ebony, with neon green eyes, he looked scary, but I knew it was him, my mate. All my fear disappeared as if it never even existed. Only his presence gave me security. Ruby was thrilled, even she started licking that fearless black wolf. And then it hit me. Sabrina! I turned around and saw that brown wolf who had helped us a little while ago, licking and whining next to Sabrina. I assumed he was her Mate.

At that moment, two wolves ran up to us, Ruby immediately took up a defensive position and started growling at them. Those two wolves had clothes in their mouths, they put them down on the grass and went in the direction they came. The black wolf, my mate, threw me a T-shirt with his snout. I knew what that meant, I needed to shift into my human. The black wolf and the brown wolf turned around because I wouldn't like them to see my naked ass. I quickly took on my human form and put on a T-shirt that smelled just like him, like summer rain and cinnemon. It was intoxicating. Soon after, I turned around and shifted into my human. "Wow." Ruby and I thought at the same time.

Tall, dark-skinned, black hair and green eyes. He also had tattoos on his arms and his chest, which were somehow sexy to me, they suited him. The other man, who was a little shorter than my mate, had honey-colored eyes and light brown hair. He immediately rushed to Sabrina trying to wake her up but this was all obviously too much for her. She was picked up by the bridal style and he headed with her in the direction of the forest. I didn't react because I had a feeling she was safe with him.
