Hearing Uma call him 'Madhuvettan', Madhav's eyes widened.

Madhav is so handsome that no one can take their eyes off him. He sings well and has many fans. Madhav doesn't pay attention to Ragini's tantrums. There is a closeness between them as they studied in the same class. But Ragini is not like that.

Uma's plan was to go to PG after graduation. She told Madhav to arrange things to live together in the meantime. Both of them knew that the marriage would not take place by the family agreed. At this time, everyone thought that Archana and Ashok had given up on their love affair. Everybody thought like that. Their grandmother died. Madhav had come to the ancestral home that day.

Shocking everyone, Archana eloped with Ashok as soon as she finished her studies. Her grandfather thrown Ashok out of the ancestral home and he did after death rituals for Asok. After that, no one had any information about Ashok and Archana. But one day, Uma came to know that Ashok used to send letters to Sathyan's brother Shivan. Uma got Ashok's address from Shivan. But she did not have the courage to send the letter.

Madhav had a job somewhere far away. Uma had finished her PG. At that time, her grandfather caught the letter that Uma had received with the address "Ragini". From it, everyone understood that Uma was preparing to run away with Madhav. Gopala Menon beat her up severely. He locked her in the room. He cursed Madhav and Archana, saying that a brother and sister from a house had come out to seduce the grandchildren of the Kovilakam House. He cursed that they would not get any peace, they both should suffer.

Madhav thinks that they are experiencing that curse now.

Madhav and Uma have already faced all type of torture that they have to experience in one life. That is how much Satyan has tortured them.

Uma, who was locked in the room by her grandfather, was rescued by Satyan's sister Sati. She prepared everything for her escape in one night. Satyan and Shivan brought Uma to Madhav at midnight. At that time, Sathyan was loving and helpful. Sathyan's distant relatives were living with the tribals in Wayanad. They needed a doctor and a teacher there. They asked Madhav and Uma to take up the job.

Sathyan's relatives provided all the help they needed to survive. So, Uma and Madhav stayed among the tribals. They were afraid to contact the outside world. Uma and Madhav were afraid that Gopala Menon's people might do something, so they did not go out.
