26: New Species

A green goo was spreading on the streets. It was slow but the moment it touches you. It turns you into mindless people in rage basically. Pushing others near them into the goo. There were some worms in the goo and it looked disgusting. It was a bit far away but a boy holds my hand and I looked down.

"We must go... They started" the boy spoke in such echo

"Do you now what's going on?" I asked him

He has come visited me many times so I knew this little boy as if he is my son "The Government is trying to eradicate a certain amount of humans with an alien DNA to devolve or evolve humans"

I bend down and I asked again "How do you now this?"

"I am one of the royals... My parents are being used to do this... I know they will not survive so they told me to find a suitable human to live with and locate my sister..." He explains gently

Alek comes out calmly "Rose did you prepare your suitcase?"

"Alek... We need to prepare your mom's suitcase also... Put the animals in the car..." I tell him in panic

"Why I thought you wanted us to spend time alone?" Alek asked confused

I looked to the side and pointed as I said "Because of that there are things coming after us..."

He looks to the side surprise I see you noticed that the men fighting others and pushing them into the green goo. Fear engulfed him also it engulfed me. All I wanted to do was stay away from it but I needed to stop at the pharmacy to get some medication. I wasn't going to leave this child either here so he is coming with us also. For some odd reason I believe what he told me so I took his hand and I stared him right in the eyes. But he knew that I believed him because he smiled and it was the first time I saw him smile. But a glimmer of green shown in his eyes and then they return to their dark brown color so I knew I believe him even more.

The small boy runs inside and so I follow Alek. To help him get what his mom needs. I went to get the cages as we weren't going to leave my babies here. I so wanted to spend time alone with him but danger approaches. The Goo is slow but the worms are slightly faster.

What a day.
