31: Beast Lovers

I was always told to be a house wife. Cooking. Cleaning. Massages. The way of speaking. Accepting everything. Obedience. How to raise children alone. But I had enough. The way my parents were teaching me to be a wife. It didn't feel like that. I felt like a slave. A breeder. Nothing more. I didn't feel like myself. I didn't feel human. So I ran away. Far away. To a small town. It was known as the border between humans and monsters. That's where I found out that S Class monsters will pay a giant amount of money for a human wife. Deep in my heart I felt like my parents were going to sell me of to a monster.

Sadly I had six brands on me. A small nest thing that would glow once in a while. My parents were trying to sell me of. I clenched my jaw as I tried running to another direction. But sadly that didn't work. The brands on my body attracted all the males who were going to fight for my hand in marriage. I denied it all. All of it. People blamed me for allowing such strong monsters to enter their lands.

This all happened in one year. It was so annoying. But I met a slayer who told me he would help me. But all I had to do was take the small nest thingy to a enchantress. The Enchantress is the one who controls the borders protection. If I hand her the nest thingy she might be able to remove all the brands that was given to me by each male when I was born. But my dreams were crushed as I had to use my body to save children from being killed by an angry snake.

Let's just tell the story without the jumping. We'll start with meeting Ace.

~Snake (Ace)~

I walked with Michael. A hunter. But he is just a dragon hunter. He was helping me out. But it was out of pity. Being that I got marked by six beasts. Monsters. But sadly I don't know which is which. Not even Michael now's. But he did explain that I am able to have their babies as pure breds thanks to this brands they have left on me. I sighed out as I looked around confused. I felt a presence. An angry one. Rain started pouring down on us. As if it's a storm here. It's rare for it to rain this heavy.

Everyone screamed and panicked. There is a river passing and a bridge is above it. Leading to the schools. If that bridge breaks those poor kids will be left alone and building another bridge will take a while. Those poor children. I ran towards the bridge to see if I can help but then I notice this giant black snake.

It looks pissed of. Michael pulls me towards him as he pulls out a sword. Aiming at the snake. It made it angrier. The snake slams it's tail to the floor and people ran off screaming. I could see the kids crying as they stare at the bridge being cracked. It's going to break. Those poor kids. Michael wasn't letting me go. The snakes tail slams against the floor again making the earth shake. I could see how the river started raging. It got higher. The wind started and now the rain is smacking on everyone's faces. Even my own. I am completely wet. Drenched from head to toe.

I see a couple of people coming up with swords in hands. I think those are other hunters maybe. The hissing started. I could see his scales flare up in fury. He hates humans so bad.

"Filthy pests... Always interrupting... You have killed my kind and their offsprings... Even snatching our wives! Now it's my turn to destroy you!" The snake spoke

'It spoke!' Panic rose inside of me as I have never heard a snake talk. But what he said. He sounded hurt. So these people have killed his children and their wives. But why? I have been here for almost a year now and I haven't seen any of these monsters cross over and attack this town. Ever. But I have noticed them entering the monsters territory. I always thought it was because about fruits and maintaining the treaty they have with the Enchantress. But seems like I am wrong. Michael places me behind him.

"I won't allow you to harm these people!" Michael yells out

"You will get killed with them!" The snake yells at Michael

Do they now each other? Or have they battled each other before? But Michael hunts dragons. He never told me he has battled with a snake before.  Michael and the rest of the people with weapons got smacked away. Easily. As if they were just ants. I dodge the flying bodies. I could barely feel the rain on my skin anymore. But I felt something slimy on my skin. So I looked up and my eyes were wide open. I was frozen in fear. I am staring inside the snakes mouth. The tongue slowly coming out. Tears streamed down as I felt like I was going to die. But if I die I don't have to see six monsters battle for my hand in marriage. Or mate with six monsters.

I shut my eyes expecting to be eaten by this snake. But the feeling of it's tongue touching my face and neck sent a disgusting sensation all over my body. My skin turned into chicken skin. All the hairs in my body rose in utter disgust but for some reason it felt so familiar. So I opened my eyes. His mouth was closed this time as his tongue slithers back into his mouth. I swallowed the lump in my throat. But I don't remember were. The sensation I have felt it before. But where?

"Your as sweet and innocent as I remember..." He whispers to me

His words shocked me so I asked "So you now me?"

He had the most gentle smile I have ever seen. But suddenly we got interrupted by a man stabbing the snake by the tail. The snake yells in pain. I am in shock and my heart twist and turn with the sight of him in pain. It hurts so bad. The snake smacks him away but the sword is still in his tail. He couldn't remove it as it's deep in his skin. He hisses in anger and smacks the men including Michael towards the houses.

I hear the kids scream in fear. The snake saw them and I for some reason I knew what he was going to do. He was going to take revenge on them. I ran towards the children as the snake smacks the men away again. I have a headstart. He looked even more angry so he tried swatting me away also. But someone stopped his tail. But it made me fall face first. I could feel the bridge cracking. I stood up and started running as fast as I could. But both snake and I collided and got into the water. He looked panicked as all I could do was hold my breath. I could barely see him but the way his tail wraps around me I can notice how he was feeling. His arms wrapped around me and I knew what to do. But I do need air though. So I grabbed him by the face shut my eyes as they were burning. And I kissed him. The air in me escaping through the kiss.

His old around me tightened and I could feel the water starting to calm down. But something else felt dangerous. He releases some amount of air as I felt my underpart revealed. I felt afraid but those kids would be in danger so I need to distract him enough until the current takes us away from here. Something had entered me and I felt shocked. All the air I had gone but it didn't bother me. Someone was taking advantage of this. In some way he is excited for what I did. I could feel it move inside me as he shares his air again. Snakes can accumulate enough air in them just to be underwater for a long time.

He holds me tightly as he kept doing it. But my lungs started to hurt a lot. So I started tapping him. He separates from me and is even more panic. I could feel his twin shrinking. He wraps his arms behind my legs and back and rushed upwards. To the surface. The moment I felt the air and sun hit my face I took in air. Coughing out the water I had gotten inside me. I rubbed my eyes also. As they ached a bit. I opened them and I couldn't hear crying. Screaming. Angry men. Nothing. Just wind. The rain splatter. The birds screeching at the snake.

Yeah we are far from the little village. I stopped coughing as he gets on to land. He slowly lays me on the floor as ruffles his hair a bit. But he looks sad for a moment. 

"I apologize... I couldn't control myself" he bows at me regret and sadness on his face

I sighed out and say "It's ok... It's already been done..."

I can't get angry. It was my own fault basically. He must have been holding his urges for God knows how long. He looks up at me shocked. But I looked away. His big greenish blue eyes were so hypnotizing so I won't look. The snake mark that I have is now red. Great.

Will this get worse?
