15: Immortality is no Fun

I grabbed the herb as it glowed red in my hand I felt power and I had to do the most difficult decision. I had to eat it. Villains wanted the root and if someone with a black heart eats it. The evil heart will turn its host into a demon. A good heart will turn its host into an angel. But if the host is none then the root glows red.

Meaning of multiple abilities. But mine is a bright red. It has never been seen before but of what I assume I must be bittenby Kyle. It is his only chance to be together forever. But if not bitten then I can remove the herb by summoning it into my hand. I become the herbs life force until I bury it in a soil it calls to.

The herb has its roots entering my arm it was chosing me. That's very weird. So I gulped I heard that mans steps and I had to act fast. I stared at the root as it got brighter. It was turning white. But it kept flashing between red and white. I felt hypnotized by it. Its so beautiful. Gently I place it close to my mouth as it even leans in.

I give a peck thanking it for some odd reason and I placed it inside my mouth. The herb had released a strawberry taste the moment my teeth connected to it. My heart thumped hard making me gasp I didn't make any sound.

"YOU BITCH" I heard the man scream out from behind me

I didn't have time to look behind me as pain had emerged from behind me. I heard the loud bang over and over again. I couldn't make any sound as my body went numb and my eyes wide open. He shot me. It had stopped as my body twitched as the pain started to subside. He kicks me on the stomach and this time I grunted. Coughing out a blob of blood. But not the herb. I gasped as know my body started to react.

He started cursing and stomping on my ribs hard. A kick on my thy and another to my chest. Tears slide down as I did my best not to scream in pain. But I can't tolerate it anymore.

"KYLE... SAVE MEEEE!" I screamed out in tears

"He will never save you... YOU FUCKING WHORE!" He yells at me the moment he hits my arm in this weird position

Pain erupts and I scream so loud I think my vocal cords had snapped. I was feeling the pain on my back from the bullets. I thought my body would give out already but not yet. This guy is making me feel pain but this time. He groans out angrily and grabs my body.

I cried out and it only made him laugh "Even if you ate it... Your body is still valuable... Even more when my Master sees that the herb had morphed with your blood... And to a Virgin my Master will have so much fun with you"

Where is Kyle? I am in so much pain. I can barely move. But I don't want to give up. I struggle a bit as he looks surprised. Then I kicked him. With as much strength as I could muster. He groans out and drops me on the floor. But my body didn't connect to the floor. I was free falling. Did I teleport? I could see my blood going above me. That guy wasn't keeping me awake anymore so I can already feel my eyes going heavy. I coughed up blood but it was mixed with all the bullets. My body got rid of the bullets. I could feel the soft clouds touch my skin. It felt amazing. I close my eyes as everything felt so slow. Everything felt so soft. So relaxing. Something warm is under my body and so my eyes closed shut.

Did I pass out?
