Sup.
Dipper's Perspective
I wake to find myself alone in bed, but a note has appeared on my bedside table. It reads:
Good morning Pinetree,
Sorry I left so early, I heard footsteps, and was suspicious that your 'family' was apparently trying to 'save' you. There's some strawberry waffles with honey, and a coffee in the main room for you.
Love,
-Bill-
It made me smile a little, mainly at the word 'love'. I shot out of bed, almost falling in process, but manage to catch myself on a nearby wall. When I enter the main room, finding a gorgeous sunrise approaching, and Bill standing there, in pyjamas, looking less powerful than other states he's been in. I walk up to him and grip his waist, arms tightly grasped around him. I refuse to let go until he lightly kisses me on the head. My arms loosen, and I bury my face into his puffy, lemon yellow sweater, a burning glow rapidly spreading on my face like sunburn. "Ya alright there?" emerges from a cocky dorito. I sigh, blind of my own feelings, and reply with "Yup, just fine," and bury my face deeper into comfort and safety. "You still haven't eaten," he motions to the lukewarm food, and oh. The coffee has gone cold. Oh dear. "Here, I'll make you a new one," and with a snap of his fingers, a new, steaming hot coffee appeared, and the other mug disappeared. I rush over, eyes filled, almost overflowing with hunger and delight, taking a long sip of the liquid. It burned my mouth, but I didn't give a care in the world at the moment. i became overwhelmed by the flavour, but then...I fell into a coughing fit.
I collapsed onto the floor, choking, gasping, one hand clawing at my throat, the other on the floor for support. Bill rushed over to me, a worried expression on his face, he looked less like a demon, but that wasn't my concern right now, as I was, almost literally, choking to death.
Eventually I calmed down, the tension in the air had dispersed, and I was just laid on my bed, limbs spread out like wings, my headphones were almost hidden by my curls, coffee brown, a little close to the colour of dark chocolate. Ew. Anyway, I was listening to Lemon Demon, the music blasting into my ears. I hum along to the lyrics. The humming became singing. And then yelling.
"You're pretty good, apart from being loud, very loud."
I glance around the room, looking for the voice and spot a figure, resembling a young girl. She looked like...Mabel. Mabel. Mabel.
"Mabel!" I run up to her, but only discover this was a facade. She was just a mirage. A trick my mind played on me. "Mabel, come back. Please." I whimpered.
Please come back
