Hermione is your best friend even though she is a Gryffindor. You are not friends with Harry or Ron. You know who Draco is but you have never actually talked to him as well as the same with him. As same as the movies his friends are Vincent Crabbe and Gregory Goyle though they will not be mentioned much in the story. This is a little different than the movie. All students have a house to stay at and it is like normal school except you know for magic.
