Someone got opened the gate for us. May katandaang lalaki ang nagbukas.

"We're here" I glanced to the window pane. He parked his car in their garage.

Hindi na ako nagtaka na ganito ka laki ang bahay nila. I heard from Kaylee that Devicillo own the famous liquor sa bansa.

He off the engine and he look at me, we both stared for a while. They said eyes speaks louder than our own voice but why i can't read what's on his eyes?

Or I'm just exaggerating something?

"Tara" una siyang lumabas sa 'kin para pumunta sa kabilang pintuan kung nasa'n ako banda.

I sighed heavily para mabawasan ang kaba sa loob ko, nakakadagdag lang ang sikip ng sasakyan niya.

I cleared my throat dahil sa awkward na nararamdaman. Iginaya niya ako sa may pintuan ng bahay nila.

Bumitaw si Velro sa 'kin para mahalikan ang Ina. I felt jealous on how his mother smiled widely when her son kissed her on the forehead.

"What took you so long?" His dad asked

"Traffic" at nagbro hug silang magkakapatid habang nagmano siya sa ama niya.

Nakita ko ang pagbaling ng titig ng Ina ni Velro sa'kin like she want to examined me. There's a lumped on my throat that I wanted to swallow to disappear. My heart beating so fast because of the nervousness. Lumapit Kasi ang ina niya at unti-unting sumilay ang maganda nitong ngiti.

Did she accept me already for being friends with his son? I sighed when I remember my mother told me that no one's mother that will like me. I bet it is.

Now I know where Velro get his smile. Her smile didn't fade when she took my hand and smiling like she knows me already.

I looked on Velro na ngayo'y nakatingin na pala sa 'min, actually lahat sila. I saw Reuben and Arcus smirked at me too. Gusto ko silang irapan pero nasa harapan ako ng Ina nila at baka sabihing napakabastos ko.

"Are you Raniña?" I want to run because it's like it's super hard to believe that his mother asked like they talked about me.

Tumango ako at nabigla ako ng yakapin niya ako ng walang kahirap-hirap.
