Jughead's work shift had just concluded when he once again saw a bright, yellow light outside. At first, one would be forgiven for assuming it to be lightning and promptly ignoring it, but Jughead knew better. After all, this wasn't the first time this had happened.
He didn't want to believe it could be aliens, because surely that was just some wild conspiracy theory, but he was also afraid to go outside again.
A dog began barking outside, presumably at whatever was causing the light. That was the straw that broke the camel's back, and he ran into the basement out of fear.
It was there he found Tabitha, who had been cleaning up around the Whyte Wyrm. Before she could ask about his panicked state, he pulled her into a tight embrace.
"Forsythe?" she asked in a confused tone once she processed what was happening. "It's happening again" Jughead responded, visibly stressed. Tabitha looked up to see a yellow glow fade out under the basement door.
"Okay" she responded gently, which helped to soothe the anxious man's nerves. "I'm sure those Mothmen flew off and are moonwalking around their big space rock" she joked, getting a small chuckle from Jughead, who was finally calming down.
The dog had stopped barking, and the world was peaceful once again.
Jughead yawned, which made Tabitha chuckle slightly. "Okay, Jones" she said with an amused smile. "You need rest" she stated. "I'm talking you home, and I'll even put on some Real Housewives for you to fall asleep to, yeah?"
"...You watch that shit?"
