Jayce and Viktor had just launched the Hexgates, massively improving the lives of the citizens of Piltover. Councilor Medarda, who had been serving as a sort of sponsor for the duo, suggested that they went on a cruise to celebrate.

Viktor objected, as they lacked the funds to afford something so extravagant, but she said she'd be willing to cover all their expenses. Viktor still had his reservations, but Jayce accepted her offer with a smile and a handshake, and they were on a cruise the following day

"I had trouble with the stairwell" Viktor said as he entered their room after a trip down to the food court. One of his reservations was that a cruise ship may not be accommodating to his disability, and he was saddened to find himself correct. Jayce frowned and mentally noted to bring up disability accommodation in Piltover to the Council later.

"Our neighbors helped me" Viktor continued, sitting down on the bed and resting his cane against the wall. "The kids were a bit nosy, but they meant well"

Jayce chuckled as he adjusted his golden-yellow tie. As a passenger on such a fancy ship, he was constantly making sure he looked presentable. "Vik" he started, grabbing two steaming mugs off of his night stand. "I brewed us some coffee" he said as he gave his partner one of the mugs. "I scheduled a speech regarding Hextech tonight in the food court" Viktor gave him a look. "Hundreds of people will be there, so we need the energy"

"You go" Viktor objected with a small smile. "Are you sure?" Jayce asked, taking Viktor's free hand in his own. "I hate big crowds, you know that" Viktor responded with a chuckle, taking a sip of his coffee. "I'll be cheering you on from the sidelines"

Jayce gave him a kiss on the forehead. "Okay" he agreed. "I love you, Viktor"
