Chester

I absolutely couldn't stop think about Mike. Everything I said or did reminded of me of Mike. I kept seeing his beautiful face every time I slept. I keep denying to myself, and Dave, that I might like him.

Then on a Thursday night that we were practicing, after everyone left, Dave and I decided to have a sleep over.

"Are you sure your parents are fine with it?" I asked nervously as Dave tossed a pillow towards me.

"Of course they are, now let's have some fun."

Dave's garage was set up with all of our equipment in one side of the room, and some couches and a tv on the other side.

Dave jumped on one of the couches with a bundle of blankets and pillows. "Alright Bennington, me you, man talk."

"What?"

"Admit it, you like Mike don't you?" He raised his eyebrows up and down.

I rolled my eyes, "Dave, we've been through this. I know I'm gay, but I don't like Mike like that."

"Yes you do Chester, yes you do."

I gave up then, "Okay, okay, I do."

"Ha! You two would look so cute together!"

"It's not like he likes me back though."

Dave grinned at me. "Right?" He continued to grin."Dave, stop that you're scaring me."

His grin got wider.

"He likes me?" I asked quietly.

"Yes! He does!"

"Should I tell him?"

"It be best if you do."

A smile broke out across my face. He liked me back. Mike actually likes me.

Brad

I hoped Phoenix's plan will work. I invited Mike for a sleep over at my house and decided to carry out Phoenix's plan.

The day before, Phoenix gathered all of us, except for Mike and Chester of course.

"Okay, we have to just get these two together. I know they both like each other and it's bothering me to not see them together."

"So you called us here why?" Rob said.

"I called you here to start this mission. The 'Bennoda' mission."

"Bennoda?" I asked.

"Yes, it's thier last names mixed together."

Joe raised his hand, "How are we gonna do that?"

"Before that, I need a volunteer," Dave said. I awkwardly raised my hand. "Brad, you get Mike to go to  your house tomorrow night."

"Um, okay?"

"You'll have to convince him to admit his feelings to Chester. I'll do that with Chester."

Then here I am. It was a ridiculous, but reasonable plan. Mike has never dated anyone before, and we all knew he wasn't going to if we don't help him.

While we were watching some movie late at night, I decided to start.

"So do you really like Chaz? I mean, like really like him. You know, to start a relationship?"

He looked at me, I could see him blushing in the dim light coming from the tv. "Uhm, well yea, I do."

"Have you told him?"

"Not...really. It's just... I don't know. I just can't tell him. And I don't think he likes me that way."

I sighed. "Well you're never gonna know if you don't tell him Mike."

"Lets just get some sleep," he mumbled, turning his back towards me.

I shrugged and faced back at the TV. He could be so stubborn, but it was obvious. Mike really did like Chester.

Mike

Brad was right. I wasn't going to know unless I asked him. I decided to just stop being such a pussy and just tell him.

I dialed Chester's number.

"Hello?"

"Hey Chaz. Um, do you want to meet up at Lincoln Park?"

"There's a Lincoln Park here too?"

"Heh, yea, crazy huh?"

"Sure, uh, I'll see you there then?"

He hung up and I stood into the middle of my room like an idiot. I was actually going to admit to Chester that I like him. I took a deep breath and went to my closet to grab my shoes.

I walked to the park and went up to a huge hill. I really like this hill since no one really comes here and of all the trees. Some of them were low enough to hide under.

I texted Chester,

' Meet me on the hill with all the trees on it'

'K, see u there'

I sighed and leaned back on the nearest tree. I felt so nervous. I really didn't know if he would like me back or push me away.

I heard leaves crushing and saw Chester on his way up the hill. He walked up to me.

"Hey Mike."

"Hey Chaz..."

I gulped. He looked at me, I could see the excitement in his eyes and his slight grin. "Why'd you call me over here? Have plans?"

"Um, well, Chaz you've been an amazing friend and I-I...I really-"

I was surprised when he suddenly wrapped his arms around me, nor letting me finish. "Mike, I know. I like you too."

"You do?" I gasped, not believing what I just had heard.

I felt him nod, "Ever since that night at the park Mike. I have never felt this way about anyone, ever."

I hugged him back with tears in my eyes, "Chester, I don't know what to say. I just really really really like you."

He looked up at me, "Would you say that you love me?"

I looked down at him. He stared up at me with big eyes. I looked down at his lips, his labret glinted against the light. I slowly closed the gap between us, my heart was pounding.

Our lips connected. His lips were softer than I had imagined. Everything around us just seemed to fade away and all I felt was him.

I pulled away, "Does that answer your question?"

"Yes it did." Then he pressed his lips against mine again. This time, the kiss was longer, more passionate.

He rested his head on my chest, holding onto me tightly."I never knew that there'd be someone that would actually love me," He whispered softly.

I kissed his head,"Who wouldn't? You're the most amazing person ever Chester. You are beautiful, you have a killer voice and you really know how to help people. Chaz you're perfect the way you are." He buried his face in my shirt. Then he looked up at me.

"Make me yours?"
