"Hello? Anyone home?" Jessica heard her voice echoing throughout the halls.

As she walked further, an angel was placing a device against a door.

"Jophiel." Jessica smiled. "Is that really you?"

"Jessica?" The angel looked from left to right. "How did you—how did you get up here?"

"I don't know, figured you would know."

The Angel shook his head. As he opened his mouth to speak, a sound could be heard down the hall.

Jessica saw the familiar trench coat, but her gut new it wasn't Cas. It was Lucifer.

"Jophiel—" Jessica started but he cut her off.

"Go! hide before he sees you. Hurry!"

Jessica hesitated but she did what she was told.

Running the other way and picking a door she let herself in.

She shut the door quietly and let out a sigh of relief.

"Jophiel knew he had no chance against him." Jessica slammed her hand against the door. "I should've stayed."

"Jessica?"

That voice. That gruff, familiar voice.

Tears sprung to the girls eyes as her head hung. A silent sob racked the girls body as she cried.

"I just had to find his door."

"Jessica, is that really you?"

A hand touched her shoulder and the girl whipped around. The hand now by the persons side.

"Jessica, it's me, John. It's alright."

Jessica let her tears flow in front of him. He taught her to keep her emotions tucked away until later in private. But she really didn't give a damn anymore.

"Jess—"

The girl backed up against the door.

"I'm mad at you..." she sobbed. "You left me... you left me too soon and I had gone through so much! I've lost so much." She sniffed.

"But...I missed you as well. Your sons miss you!"

John nodded his head. A frown now on his lips. "I know. I saw. But I was willing to sacrifice myself for the greater good."

Jessica laughed through her tears and shook her head.

"You and Dean sacrificing yourselves. You two just love to do that kind of crap."

"Dean and I aren't the only ones."

Jessica shut her mouth.

"So you know what we're up against. Something I warned you about I'm assuming."

"More like something the angels warned me about."

Jessica tilted her head.

"What?"

"A conversation for later." John said. "Tell me, how do you plan on taking out Mellisa?"

Jessica shook her head. Her arms crossed over her chest.

"I don't have to say anything to you."

"No," John smiled. "You don't. But I know you want to."

Jessica wiped her eyes. More tears spilled down her face.

She couldn't help but think back to the night she had ran away and ran into a familiar pair of eyes.
