You walk into the living room swaddled in a grey blanket. You look around the room until your eyes lay on the figure sleeping peacefully on the couch. You approach the figure quietly, careful not to wake him up.
"What are you doing?" A voice whispers out from behind you.
"AAAAAAH!" you scream, jumping onto what you thought was your sleeping boyfriend. Though instead of the hard chest of your boyfriend, you're met with soft pillows. Oh. Hyunjae snickers from behind him, his hand over his mouth so as to not wake up the whole dorm. "Oh my god, Hyunjae. I thought you were sleeping!" you said getting up from the couch. You walked over to your now calm boyfriend and wrapped your arms around him, laying your forehead on his chest. He hugged you back, encasing you in his arms. The two of you stood there like that for a moment, enjoying each other's company.
"You never answered my question." Hyunjae was the first to break the silence. "What are you doing out here? I gave you my room to sleep in." You bit your lip, not wanting to admit that you were scared to sleep alone.
"I...I was here to ask for a blanket. I didn't get one haha." Hyunjae just looked at you with a raised eyebrow before gesturing to the forgotten blanket at your feet with his hand. Crap. "Ok, fine. I was..." you said trailing off, hoping that Hyunjae would catch your drift.
And he did. But he wanted to hear you say it. "You were what, Y/nnie?" You removed your head from his chest to glare up at him. He was doing this on purpose. When your glare didn't phase him at all though you let out a sigh.
"I was scared ok. It's your fault though! How could you let me watch such a scary movie!?" you exclaimed, hitting his chest. Hyunjae only laughed, tightening his hold on you and bringing you back into his embrace.
"Oh c'mon. It wasn't even that scary, you scaredy-cat."
