You both had had a long day. Beomgyu had an 8-hour practice session today and you had to take an extra shift at work. You both were extremely tired which explained why you opted for going to bed early instead of hanging out with the others. Hueningkai begged for you to stay up for a little longer but once he saw the bags under your eyes it was like a switch was flipped inside of him as he pushed you both out of the dorms, wishing you goodnight.

"Well, I guess I'm sleeping over at your place tonight."

Now, you were tucked into bed after changing out of your work uniform and into your pajamas, which consisted of a pair of sweatpants and one of Beomgyu's sweatshirts that you had stolen. You cuddled into your lover, relishing in his warm embrace. You could hear his heartbeat, a slow steady pace and it was like a lullaby to your ears. Soothing you as you slowly drifted off. And it was only then, after your eyes had closed and your breathing had steadied, that Beomgyu closed his eyes and slept.

You woke up to the sound of shuffling beside you. You opened your eyes and saw Beomgyu getting back into bed. He saw that you awoke and sent you an apologetic smile. You shook your head, assuring him that it was ok. He pulled you back into his arms, resting his chin on your head. It was silent, a comfortable one, and sleep was about to overcome you until Beomgyu spoke.

"Why do you love me?" You pulled your head out from under his chin to look at him. Where was this coming from? Was something wrong? Of course, your boyfriend could read you like a book and knew what you were thinking. "Nothing's wrong, I'm just genuinely curious." You mulled over his question, collecting your thoughts before answering him.

"I love you for your voice. I love you for your smile. I love you for your laugh, no matter how obnoxious it is." Beomgyu let out a snort at that. "I love you for who you are. And I always will. You're stuck with me, babe."

"Ah yes, unfortunately." You gasped and reached under your head for a pillow.

"What do you mean "unfortunately"!?!?"
