Chapter 4

"YAH! STOP RUNNING!"

Hyeri ignored the voice yelling at her to stop. She was a good runner...a better runner than anyone else. She suddenly felt a hand on her shoulder that pulled her back.

"AHH!" she yelled out, falling back on whoever had pulled her.

"Aww Fuck!" someone groaned as she landed on him. She tried to get up but her foot got tangled and she ended up falling again, this time on her hands.

"Wahhhhhh..." she cried as she saw blood drip down from the cut in her hand. She hated blood...

"God...you cry like a girl," someone muttered behind her.

"THAT'S BECAUSE I AM ONE!" she yelled, turning around, only to face the guy she punched before.

"Shit..." he muttered. "Let me see your hand."

"No!" she yelled, pulling her hand back. She wasn't about to let some idiotic stranger touch her.

"Fuck! Just let me see your hand. Do you want it to get infected and then the doctor would have to amputate it huh?!" he said.

Hyeri stuck on her hand immediately. She winced as the guy named Taehyung poked at it.

"Can't you be at least a little softer?" she yelped as he poked her again.

"Sheesh...baby..." he muttered and blew on it.

Hey...he wasn't that bad now...he was actually kinda sweet when he wasn't angry. Not bad looking either. Hehe, he was pretty cute. Why couldn't they have these types of guys in our school...?

"Here," he said, taking out a scarf she had seen those girls wear. He tied up her hand neatly and finished it with a bow.

Wow...pretty...

"You're a pretty fast runner," he said as she examined her wrapped hand.

"I have to be. Sunoo is a fast runner so I have to be to catch his ass..." she said, looking at him.

"Who's Sunoo?"

"My little bratty brother..." she muttered.

"Funny. We have a kid like that in our school. Funny kid..." Taehyung said, looking out. He didn't seem mad anymore.

"Why's that?"

"He's a first year and he managed to play in our basketball team. Strong kid..."

"Eom Sunoo?" Hyeri asked. Her little brother? In basketball!?!?!? HAH! Sunoo was the short type and scrawny. He could never make it in basketball.

"Yea, you know him?"

So it was him...

Idiot...he never told her that he liked basketball...wait until I get home...

"He—...wait...where's Jieun?!" she yelled, jumping up.

She looked around to see an empty courtyard. Everyone had left and it was getting dark. Where was Jieun!?!?!? Her best friend couldn't be left alone. Something might happen to her!

"JIEUN!" she yelled loudly. No one answered.

"GOD! LOWER YOUR VOICE!" Taehyung yelled. "No ones here. She might still be at the basketball court..."

They quickly ran back to see an empty court. Everyone had left already.

"Where's Jieun!?!?!?!? What did your friend do to her?!?!?!" Hyeri yelled, pouncing on Taehyung.

"AHhh! FUCK! GET OFF OF ME!" he yelled. "DON'T YOU THINK YOU'VE DONE ENOUGH HARM TO MY FACE HUH!?"

Hyeri let go and stood back. "Where's my friend?"

"Fuck...you hold on tight for a girl..." he muttered, rubbing his neck. "Why are you so worried anyways? She can take care of herself."

"NO she can't!" Hyeri yelled. "I have to find her! She can't be left alone!"

"Sheesh...hold on..." Taehyung muttered, taking out his cell. He punched in a few numbers and waited. "Soobin? Where's that girl you were with? The one that came by earlier with the loud mouth...oh...okay..."

Hyeri would have kicked him if it weren't for Jieun. He hung up his phone and looked at her.

"WELL?"

"Your friend is with hyung at the club."

Club...club...club...

JIEUN!!!!!

Hyeri grabbed Taehyung's arm and pulled him. "We're going now! We have to save her!"

"Why?! I don't want to go," he snapped, pulling his arm away.

"You have to go!" she yelled.

"Why?"

"Because..."

"Because what?!"

"Because I don't know how to get there..."

Taehyung sighed and started walking. Hyeri pushed him so he would quicken up his pace.

LEE JIEUN! I'M COMING TO SAVE YOU!
