"So where are you headed?" Soobin asked, looking at Arin.
"Home. I need to sleep," she said, yawning. The whole night of torturing Heejin was fun, but very tiring. She wouldn't dare go to school for the next few weeks. Surprisingly, Soobin actually helped her out. She didn't think that Soobin had the guts to do that. He was always the conservative, don't-get-into-trouble, goody-goody type of guy. Maybe she was wrong...
"It's already 10. The sun's out already. Let's go do something else," he said.
"Like what?"
"What about getting a drink?"
"Okay..." Arin said without really thinking. Wait...she was going to go get a drink with Soobin? The basketball player? The annoying guy who couldn't seem to keep his nose out of her business? Why was she hanging out with him in the first place?! But she followed him...
They actually spent the day together. She found out that Soobin wasn't that bad. He was funny...in a way...but even when they weren't funny, she found herself laughing at them. What...?
Soobin wasn't the type of guy she would go for. Or...would normally go for. She would go for the gangster type, mean and tough type of guy. But Soobin...he was different. He was kinda cute too, when she actually looked.
Wait...
What was she thinking...?
...
This was the guy that she literally hated for two years...
...
They arrived at the café and got their drinks. Soobin paid for it even though she tried to pay for her own. He said he would take care of it.
Arin looked sideways at Soobin. There was something different about him...or maybe she has a different view on him now...
"Is there something on my face?" he asked, looking at her.
"Huh?" she asked, surprised.
"You're looking at me strangely," he said, taking a sip of his coffee. He brought the cup down and she saw his foam mustache.
She started laughing as he looked at her confused.
"You have something on your face," she said, pointing.
He took a napkin and wiped his chin. "There's nothing here."
She stopped laughing and sighed. Guys...
She took the napkin away from him and wiped the foam off. He reached up and took the napkin from her, brushing his hand against hers.
Arin quickly let go and pulled away. She picked up her drink and started sipping it, trying to avoid Soobin's eyes.
...
......
...
There was an awkward silence.
They left the café in silence as if something serious happened.
"Arin ya—" he started, but didn't get to finish.
"LEE ARIN!"
She turned to see...Chaeyoung? And her use-to-be friends.
Chaeyoung had an angry expression. Oh...she must have found Heejin on her doorstep.
"What?" Arin said, folding her arms across her chest. She wasn't scared of them any longer.
"What did you do to Heejin?" Chaeyoung asked angrily.
