"Why are you following me?" Arin asked, turning around suddenly to face Soobin.

He scratched his head and looked embarrassed. "Who said I was following you?"

"For the fact that you keep stepping on my shoes and that for the past twenty minutes, you've been everywhere I've been. If you wanted to follow me more carefully, you would at least stay five feet behind me and hide when I turn around and catch you."

Soobin suddenly turned bright red.

"Now what do you want?" Arin asked, glaring at him.

"I...I wanted to ask..." he stuttered.

"Ask what?"

"Ask...why you don't hang out with your other friends anymore," he blurted. Damn...

"What other friends?"

"You know, those girls that you go clubbing with. All of a sudden, you stopped," he said, looking at her.

"Why should you care?" she asked, standing there. She waited for his answer. He seemed to be thinking too long. Still the same old dorky Soobin.

"I...did you know that Jieun was at the courts yesterday with us?" he asked suddenly.

Arin froze. "What?"

"Yea...she was there with Jungkook when we came to look for him. He was supposed to meet us for practice but he never showed up."

Never showed up...?

Jieun...?

Arin thought she had said that she went out with Hyeri...

But then again, Jimin was there...

"Arin?"

"I'll talk to you later Soobin," she said, walking away. She headed towards the basketball courts.

All the guys were there playing. Jungkook was practicing his shots. Taehyung was there just watching his friend.

"Oppa..." she said, walking up to Taehyung.

"Hi Arin," he said, looking at her.

"I heard you guys were with Jieun yesterday..."

"What about it?" he asked. His face and eyes suddenly darkened.

"They were playing basketball?" she asked, looking at him.

"I think so. When I got there, they were just shooting hoops, why?"

"Jieun...didn't look too exhausted right?"

"No...she looked fine. Why?"

"Nothing...I just don't want her stressing herself," she muttered.

"Arin ya..."

"Huh?"

"You know you don't look anything like Jieun? How could you two be sisters?"

She knew that question would come up sooner or later.

"We have different mothers," she said, stiffening. "They died."

They were as good as dead for leaving us...

...

"Oh..."

...

She watched Jungkook run around, shooting hoops.

"Did you know that...Jungkook missed a shot," Taehyung said in a quiet voice.

"Huh? What do you mean, he never misses, and even if he did, it was probably because someone was blocking him," she said quickly.

"No...He was just standing there. There wasn't anyone there to block him. He missed. And it wasn't the first time he missed either."
