He watched behind the wall as the girl he saw walk around and smile. She held up a few folders and then dropped them onto the desk.
She was talking to another lady, smiling.
Smiling.

"Jeon Jungkook?"
Jungkook turned around slowly to see...another woman staring at him...
Who was she?
"You might not remember me. I'm Jieun's older sister, Inna," she said smiling.
Jungkook gave a small bow. "I'm sorry...I forgot..."
"Well, I remember you," she said smiling. "I didn't expect to see you here."
"Why is that Noona?" he asked.
"I heard you went to America for basketball right? And Jieun left to go to Stanford."
...
Lee Jieun...
...
"Nae..." he muttered.
"Are you here to see Jieun?" Inna asked. "Why don't you go with me? We're having lunch together."
"No...it's okay Noona, I'll see her later," he said quickly and then left.
Inna looked as Jeon Jungkook got into the elevator and disappeared from her view.
Jeon Jungkook.
Was he still interested in Jieun? It has been six years now though. Jieun mentioned that they broke up already, or more like he dumped her.
What...happened and why was he here again?

"Jieun!"
I turned to see Inna Unnie walking my way.
"Unnie!" I cried, running to hug her. "You're here!"
"Sorry Jieun, I was busy with court cases before," she said smiling. "How are you doing?"
"I'm fine Unnie," I said quickly. I looked at the clock. It was already 12. "Let's go eat."
"Alright," Inna said smiling. "Oh yea...are you still in touch with Jeon Jungkook?"
I froze. "What Unnie?"
"I just saw him here. But he left right away," Inna said, looking at me.
"Oh..." I said weakly. What was he doing here in the first place? Ignore it...it's probably nothing...right?
"Ready?" Inna asked.
"Let's go," I said smiling.
After lunch with Inna, I went back to work for another few hours. It was getting tiring but then tomorrow I had the day off so I couldn't really complain.
I went to the changing room and quickly changed. I checked my messages one more time before I left.
"Lilly, this is Joongi. I'll meet you tonight at the StarLight Café at 7 alright? See you later."
I smiled and deleted the message. I looked down at the ring on my finger. Lee Jieun, you are very lucky.
Very lucky indeed.
