Chaeyoung narrows her eyes at the raven, skeptical. "We barely got information on what to do other than not exposing yourself to the sun from the supposed scientists, what makes you think we can just trust some random woman with no known background information?"
Jisoo sighs, this was expected. However, she can't reveal absolutely everything about her life to get people to trust her.
The pink-haired girl quickly stood up, backing up Jisoo and her idea to get away from the cities. "I've known Jisoo since we were both in diapers basically. I know how she is, you can trust her."
The raven looks at Lisa in the eyes and smiles, a silent thank you was exchanged through eyecontact and Lisa accepted it, slowly nodding.
"Chae, you trusted the scientists with your life even though so many people didn't believe them. I think you can trust Jisoo." Jennie says, an attempt at a joke to lighten up the atmosphere that unfortunately failed as no one let out even a small giggle.
Chaeyoung stood up and walked in the direction of the bedroom, "Whatever. You guys can do what you want, but if this fails I will see you all in hell." before slamming the door shut.
Jisoo pursed her lips together, and looks at Jennie. "Has she always been like that?"
The blonde only shrugged, still sitting on the floor as she played with her shadow. "She can get a little stubborn sometimes, but she's just being careful."
Lisa looks at the bedroom door with a longing gaze, turning her head back to Jisoo. "Im gonna console her."
The raven tilts her head to the side, wondering what Lisa meant by consoling. Lisa immediately understood what Jisoo wanted to say, and before words could come out of her heart-shaped lips, the other girl spoke for her.
"I'll tell her things about you, where we're going, and how she can trust us." Lisa said, already walking towards the door and turning the knob slowly, before entering and closing.
The raven sat back down, playing with the hem of her black shirt.
"So, Chaeyoung can know "things"," Jennie spoke, making an air quote gesture, "but not me?"
Jisoo chuckled at what she thinks is another attempt at a joke. "You'll know in time. But, I guess I could tell you where we're even going." The raven lies down on the carpet, which seemed a little too dirty for her liking, but right now she didn't care. She craved comfort.
The brunette lies down as well, waiting for Jisoo to start talking.
"My parents.. used to work with YGC. I can't tell you much, but they're a global organization dedicated to protect us from things that are.. out of the ordinary, to say the least." Jisoo said, looking up at the ceiling's yellow light bulb.
"I know where my parents worked at. It's not far. And I think it could be some sort of sanctuary since it's underground and far from urban civilization." She continues.
The younger girl only hummed in response, turning her head to the side and watches the raven staring at the ceiling, breathing in and out. She admires how perfect her side profile is. The brown eyes that had a glint of mischievousness whenever she talked to Lisa, embarrassing the pink-haired girl in any way possible, or the seriousness that came when she talked with Chaeyoung, or the softness that was displayed when the raven looked at her.
The light skin tone which seems to reflect the girl's kind and innocent heart, and the soft heart-shaped lips with a smile that could end depression. Kim Jisoo was the definition of perfect and the exact kind of person that Jennie would-
"Are you done?"
That sentence alone was enough to completely halt Jennie's train of thoughts, she blinked multiple times and saw Jisoo smirking at her, catching her at her act. "It's cute when you're in deep thought, but it's also rude to stare at people."
