Hello! Authornim here, first of all, thank you so much for reading Calamity <3 It's the first book I've ever managed to complete so I feel quite proud of myself.
Calamity is destined to have a sad ending, due to the many MANY symbolizations foreshadowing that happened throughout the entire story... The biggest one was probably the moth necklace and butterfly ring since moths mean death and butterflies mean life (although Jennie encountered a black butterfly in one of the last chapters, it symbolizes not being able to let go + death so.. you can guess where this is going).
There WAS another ending I thought of, where Jisoo (still) turned into a monster but Jennie ran away to see Jisoo again and stay with her forever until the end of time, however, I thought the real ending was better and sadder.
Please tell me ALL of your thoughts on this story, such as whether or not have you realized some of the things in the story meant much more than you thought it was, etc.
