Chapter XII

A tired Soojoo was awakened by her head hitting the roof of the car. Confused, she looks around the surroundings and noticed Lisa wearing a sheepish smile.

It seemed that the two girls switched driving positions, as instead of Chaeyoung, it was Lisa driving while the blonde was peacefully sleeping in the other seat, albeit her position seemed rather uncomfortable.

"Sorry, there was a bump in the road." The older girl nodded as a sign that she's okay with it.

She shifted from her slightly uncomfortable sleeping position that resulted in an aching neck and shoulder blades. Soojoo looked to her sides to see the raven cuddling with Jennie. "Cute." She says to herself.

Soojoo lets out a sigh as she checks her buzzing phone.

Her finger swiped to the left, clearing all her notifications. She has decided to reply later, she is still a little sleepy after all.

"Lisa," Soojoo calls out.

"Yeah?" The pink-haired girl asks, eyes still on the dark road illuminated by the dim (some aren't even on) streetlights placed at the sides.

"Do you even know where you're going?" With a playful tone in Soojoo's voice, Lisa rolled her eyes.

"I'm not dumb, I'm using Jisoo's phone to see where we're going. We should arrive in a couple more hours."

"Ugh," The older girl grumbles, "Why is it so far away from Seoul?" 

"I don't know! I'm not Jisoo." The conversation soon ended with Lisa focusing on driving and not crashing into the melting trees and Soojoo contemplating to go back to sleep.

Her eyes widened as she remembers something important that she had to do. Soojoo placed her hand in the pockets of the suit, checking to see if it's still there. Soojoo was relieved when she felt the item still there.

She turns around slightly, careful not to bump into the sleeping raven next to her. Soojoo opens one of the bags and places it at the bottom, buried by the other things there such as medicine and drinks.

"There we go." She turns back and looks out the window. It was raining quite heavily, however, she didn't mind. In fact, the sounds of the rain slowly lulled her back to sleep.

Eyes closing, the last thing she sees is Lisa moving Chaeyoung to a more comfortable sleeping position.

The next time Soojoo woke up, the car was lively. The pink-haired girl was still driving but is now accompanied by Chaeyoung who was fully awake, conversing with Lisa.

She turns her head to the right and is surprised to see Jennie and Jisoo still asleep in each other's arms.

"Hi, Soojoo! You're finally awake." The younger girl greeted her with a smile.

"Hey, Chae. What time is it, by the way?" Soojoo asked.

"7 AM, we're almost at our destination so can you please wake those two lovebirds up as well?" Lisa lets out a laugh at the blonde's comment.

"Sooya, wake up." Soojoo pokes the raven's side, however, she was still asleep.

"Five more minutes, Lis..." Jisoo yawned, shifting even closer to Jennie.
