Chapter VII

Not even seconds after Chaeyoung closed the bedroom's door, a loud yell could be heard followed by confused and concerned voices. The blonde rushes over to the stairs, where she determined the sounds came from, and saw Jennie on the bottom floor and appears to be holding her ankle in pain.

"What even happened?" Chaeyoung walks down the stairs, stopping a few steps behind Jennie.

"I fell down the stairs..." The brunette cries out, and even though most of her face is covered by the suit, Chaeyoung could see the teary eyes.

"Can we go one week without some sort of injury?" Lisa sighs and slaps her own forehead, before pacing around the room.

"Jisoo! Do we have ice packs?" Lisa asks, and only then did Chaeyoung notice that the raven was nowhere near here.

"We don't, Lisa. I think we might have to go loot a pharmacy again." Jisoo suddenly appears, lifting Jennie up bridal style.

"AH! JISOO PUT ME DOWN!" The raven chuckles, ignoring the younger girl's desperate pleas and squirming.

"Has she always been that strong?" Chaeyoung whispers to Lisa, who only shrugged. "Get used to it, sometimes she gets random surges of energy."

The older girl finally lets Jennie down, positioning her on the couch along with pillows that raised her leg up. Jisoo takes off Jennie's hazmat suit, leaving her in her old shirt and pants. The brunette was biting her lip, trying to do anything to distract her own body from the pain on her ankle.

"You should've been more careful, love." Jennie crosses her arms and faces away from the raven, whether it was due to embarrassment or to just hide the obvious blush, Jisoo wasn't sure.

"Usually, I don't recommend going out in daytime, but since this is quite urgent, I'll go by myself." She says to break the silence.

"Alone?" The younger girl looks at Jisoo.

"Yeah, I won't take that long. Don't fall from the stairs again." The raven cracks a joke, which worked as the brunette laughed, before Jisoo walks away presumably to tell Chaeyoung and Lisa where she's going.

Jennie spots the raven once again, making her way to the front door, shooting one look back at Jennie before walking out. Her attention falls onto the blonde who was walking towards her with a bottle of water and painkillers.

"Jisoo says these will help you. I know you hate pills, Jen, but you don't have a choice here." The younger girls look up to Jennie who was giving her puppy eyes as she bats her eyelashes and juts her bottom lip out.

"You're not getting out of this, Jen." Chaeyoung glares at her.

The brunette only continued her actions as her lips quivered and her eyes became watery. "This girl..." Chaeyoung curses to herself, she shook her head in response, not wanting to give in to Jennie.

Just one more look at her doe eyes as the older girl tilted her head, Chaeyoung immediately slams down the bottle and pills onto the table, before holding her head in annoyance.

"LISA! YOU DEAL WITH HER, I CAN'T DO THIS!" The blonde pulls Lisa's arm, leading her to the couch. The pink-haired girl takes one look at Jennie, before chuckling devilishly.

"You're smart, Jennie Kim. However, I am immune to this. I WILL shove these pills down your throat." She says, before cracking her hands and neck.

While Jisoo does intend to get some ice packs from a pharmacy, she uses this opportunity to think. The raven wasn't bringing any molotovs with her, only a handgun. She only realized that she had forgotten when she was too far away from the house, she supposes she won't be needing it anyway.
