In the morning, none of us had slept, i couldn't even close my eyes for too long, those things imprinted in my brain, the groans of the undead corpses haunt my mind,their shallow soulless eyes piercing through me, the camp smelt like the metallic smell of blood and rotting flesh, Andrea hadn't moved from where she was last night, Amy was now long gone, Ed was also dead,I thought it was heartless to think he derseved to be ripped apart by the undead , though it wasn't,he deserved every second of it, to think that dropping my stuffed bunny last night almost costed me my life scared me,we could die at any second with those things walking around.

As we stepped out of the RV, I stared at the dead corpses on the ground now with a bullet hole in their head surrounded by dried blood, their eyes still holding a horrifying expression, the longer I stared at it the more I thought, "don't look honey" I hear mom say as she takes my shoulder and directs to another direction towards dad and Carl, Carl's eyes red from crying and dads face laced with worry "it's not safe here anymore he have to leave" dad told the group,those words sounded so familiar but so different, those were the words Shane seid the night we had to leave, the night he told us dad was dead.

Daryl was burning the dead walkers and we were going to bury our people, "she's a damn ticking timebomb" daryl grunts looking at Amy and Andrea,he was right, she was bitten,Amy would come back soon, Andrea put her head closer to Amy as she could hear her shallow raspy sounding breathing, Amy opened her eyes, they were gray and lifeless like the other things, she started groaning and growling as Andrea put her hand on her cheek "oh Amy" she whispered as more tears streamed down her face,Amy started getting up and trying to bite andrea,Andrea started grabbing her gun from her pants, she put the gun up to Amy's head, Andrea closed her eyes and pulled the trigger,Amy fell back  to the ground in an instant.

I sat on the ground drawing in the dirt with Carl as mom talk to dale, we heard jacqui start yelling "Jim's bit!" She exclaims backing away from him "I'm okay,I'm okay, it's just a scratch,I'm okay" he repeats again and again as Daryl walks over and lifts up his shirt revealing a bite mark on his chest, everyone in the group is speechless except for Jim who keeps repeating "I'm okay,I'm okay" Daryl try's to kill Jim on the spot though dad stops him by putting a gun up to his head "we don't kill the living" dad tells him.

We are all getting ready to leave the camping grounds, I grab my bag and put it on my back while holding onto my stuffed bunny, Eliza and her family weren't coming though they seid they had family they wanted to find, I hugged Eliza and Louis,"stay safe" I whisper to them "you too Ellie" Eliza replies, after I walk over to where mom,dad and Carl are, Eliza had given her doll to Sophia, "what should I name her?" Sophia asks me looking at the doll, "what about Eliza" I say smiling "ok" Sophia exclaims also smiling, we got in the car with mom,dad,Sophia,carl,carol and I, mom and dad were in the front seats while Carol,Sophia,carl and I were in the back, "this reminds me of the time we went to the Grand Canyon" mom laughs "we went to the Grand Canyon?" Carl asks "yes," mom laughs "you were only one and a half years old while Ellie was about a year" "I didn't know babies could throw up so much" dad laughs "I wanna see the Grand Canyon " Sophia adds "don't worry,we wouldn't see it without you and your mom" dad tells Sophia as she puts her head on carols shoulder smiling.

A while later dales RV stops infront of us, we all get out "engines busted" dale sighs, we walk into the RV to see Jim,he looks terrible,he's as pale as a ghost and sweating profusely, "I can't go much longer,my bones,my bones feel like glass" he says "I want to just stay here in the trees" he continues, he wants us to leave him to turn into one of those things alone, dad helped him to a tree near the road as we all seid our goodbyes, soon it was my turn, I didn't really know Jim that well but he was a nice man, "take care of yourself and your brother" he told me "I will,thank you" I paused "goodbye Jim" I seid quietly so only he could hear "goodbye Ellie" he replied with a smile even though he was in pain, I couldn't even try to imagine the pain he felt, his bones felt like glass, the thought of knowing that eventually he would turn into one of those things, I slowly walked back to the car, I saw Sophia with tears in her eyes holding the doll Eliza had given her close to her, I put my arms around her, I could hear her small sniffles, she was particularly close with Jim,she seid he was like a dad to her,a better dad than Ed could ever be, just the thought of losing dad again brought tears to my eyes like that night at the hospital.

Dale got his RV to work again so we started driving again, I looked out the window as we all drove anyway, looking at the lonely Jim sitting against a tree, tears felt down my cheeks as I looked away and gripped my bunny as I put my head on Carl shoulder.

We soon made it to Atlanta, the once booming city looked like a ghost town debris of the bombs was all over the city, the city was scattered with cars and dead bodies on the ground, we arrived at the Centre for Disease Control, the huge building looked untouched by the mess around it, we parked a few miles from the building, the stench of the dead nauseated me,I almost felt like throwing up anything I had eaten before, there were flies buzzing round the dead bodies, we all covered our noses as we walked to the building, the place looked deserted, we walked up to the entrance as we looked around, dad tried to open the door and Shane started banging on the door, "there's nobody here" Shane tells dad "then why are the shutters down" dad asks "walkers!" I hear Daryl say behind me as I spin around Daryl shoots it, I squeeze moms hand "rick this is a dead end" I hear Shane say as he walks up to the door "he's right we can't be in the city after dark" mom tells him as I hear Carl whimper sounding like he's about to cry, "fort bennings still an option Rick" Shane says "with what no food ,no fuel that's 125 miles away" mom says as Carl starts crying, everyone starts leaving till dad says something "wait,I saw the camera move" "you imagined it " dale tells him "it moved,it moved" dad says as he walks closer to the camera, dad starts pounding on the door yelling at the camera,more walkers start to appear as I hold moms hand tightly with my bunny in the other hand, tears start swelling my eyes "I know your in there,I know you can hear me" dad yells at the camera "please we're desperate,please help us we have women and children,no food, hardly any gas left and no where else to go" dad shouts as mom starts walking away with Carl and i now both in tears, as we all start walking away, a bright light appears though the door, we all stare in disbelief.
