A beautiful day is nothing compared to England. "We are fair like no other" one would say.
The darkening sky affected and mourning as the rain followed with the smoke. The sound of water dropping to the rocky pavement was only heard. No soul around to cherish and comfort it.
The once bright sun was gone again as the dark clouds covered it. It would be rare to find the sun gleaming in the city of London.
Thunderstruck, lighting a glimpse at a small wooden home. The once tall home is now short into a broken one. Windows shattered from previous monsters. A small blanket covered the glass from the views of the monstrous and hypocritical eyes.
The faint light is seen from a burning candle. The air blew it lightly, making it dance lightly. It shined on the two people vaguely as they hovered over a woman.
Drops of sweat covered her pale forehead. Ragged breathing covered her lungs. Her back was soaked, and her nightgown attached to her skin as she let out a blood-curdling scream.
Her grip tightened on the bedsheets as she arched her back in pain. It is unbearable. Especially in this house state. Hearing the lightning not too far from her scare her but the pain in her body distracted her slightly.
Her husband trembled, gripping her hand and kissing her knuckles. "You can do it, love. Just a little while longer."
She only screamed in response. Her eyes shut throughout the pain as she pushed. A doctor frowned in concentration in front of her. He was called late at night when he heard slamming repeatedly on his door, shouting his wife is giving birth.
"Few more pushes, dear." He murmured.
The woman kept shouting and gripping hard on the soft sheets. She pants repeatedly, she can't take the pain much longer! Make it stop!
She whined as tears fell from her eyes. Her husband used a napkin to pat them away as well as her sweat.
He kissed her head and murmured, "I'm here, dear. I won't leave. Please hold on."
They all stopped as a loud cry echoed in the room. The couple forgot to breathe for a moment when the doctor cleaned the child.
The woman whimpered as she felt sore but she couldn't remove her eyes on the baby. pants as tears pooled in her amber eyes. The man was already in tears as he saw his child covered in a yellow blanket, being passed over to him.
The woman's eyes lidded and refused to sleep as the doctor cleaned her. He offered her pain medication as he monitored her vitals.
The woman wasn't paying much attention to the doctor and teary laughed as her husband passes the baby to her. As the baby lay on the woman, it quieted into whimpers.
No one made a sound, cherishing the small noise this creature made.
The woman held her child as though it was made of glass. The husband smiles and smooths his hand on the baby's thin red hair.
