Brook closed her eyes and tightly clung to Tarzan. After they finally arrived at the camp, Brook's eyes widened at the mess. The ones responsible are still present trashing the place. "Gorillas," she whispered in awe.

Tarzan grunts and walks to Terk, wrestling her and playing on the ground.

"He's one of them," she smiled.

Brook stepped up behind Tarzan and Terk stopped to look at her. Terk and the other gorillas' eyes widened to see so much red in the girl's hair. Terk looked back at Tarzan and he urged her on to meet Brook.

Suddenly something huffed her hair from behind and Brook's breath hitched when her hairs stood as she turned around. It was a large silverback gorilla. "Oh, my–"

Kerchak roared at her, punching his chest. In fright, she dropped to the ground and shielded her head, whimpering. She looked up and trembled. Kerchak leaned to her face and grunted.

Kerchak huffed and sniffed her and his eyes widened, realizing what she was. He roared to the other gorillas. Grunting them to follow him. The others followed without question except for Tarzan who was hesitant to leave Brook.

"Brook! Brook!" Brook heard the Professor call.

"Brook!" Clayton called.

"Brook, please! Answer me!" Jane pleaded.

Tarzan sighed and rubbed his nose at her cheek and fled. Just as he disappeared, Mr. Porter, Jane, and Clayton ran to the camp.

"Brook! Oh, Brook!" Mr. Porter hugged the girl.

Jane teared up and hugged them, "I thought I lost you! Don't ever leave me like that again! Are you hurt?!"

"Good heavens, what happened?" Clayton looked around the camp.

Brook shook her head, still looking at the grass Tarzan left in.

"Jane ran to us about what happened. We thought we lost you," Clayton helped her stand up.

"Oh, my goodness! Miss Jane! I w-was running and the panther caught me!" Brook ranted. Jane and Archimedes gasped.

"But then suddenly it flew back! And he stands there and he fought back! My ankles hurt! Then suddenly I was flying on the vines and he saved me! I was saved by a flying wild man in a loincloth!"

"Loincloth? Good lord," Archimedes frowned.

"He was hurt and-and-and-and! I had to cure him, he was bleeding out!" Jane and Archimedes grew worried.

"What is she talking about?" Clayton frowned.

"I haven't the foggiest idea," Archimedes spoke.

"And there were gorillas!" Brook turned to them. "Gorillas?" the tree asked simultaneously.
