Thunder rumbled, echoing the jungle. It made the whole environment gloomy and downcast. Kerchak noticed how the sudden air was thick and yet thin at the same time. The troop kept to themselves once they heard Tarzan leave. The one mischievous boy was gone.

Kerchak should be happy, right? Then why wasn't he?

He grunts as he sees his mate by herself, away from others. He knew she took the news the hardest. After all, she had to let her son go. He sighed and walked towards her when the sky exploded in red.

It brought everyone's attention as they heard humans walking toward them with nets in their hands. Other humans charged with weapons, yelling to grab them.

Kerchak wouldn't let that happen and roared, running towards them. That's when he suddenly was engulfed in a net, making it impossible to escape.

The gorillas gasped and ran away. But the humans were fast and trapped them, scaring them with their sharp weapons.

One by one captured in nets. Infants trapped in bags. Mothers pulled by ropes. Finally, being trapped in cages.

Kerchak roared, ripping his net running to his mate. But the humans planned ahead and whipped him, grabbing his arms and neck. They trapped him again in a net and he snarls.

He pulls on the ropes but it was to no avail. He spotted the human from before with the same weapon walking towards him. Kerchak glares at him as Clayton smirks, pointing his rifle at him. "Ah, I remember you. I think this one will be better off stuffed."

Just when Clayton was about to pull the trigger, he heard a strange cry. Everyone looked around to figure out what it was but Kerchak and Kala knew where this came from.

Tarzan flew in on his vine bringing the elephants and rhinos to them. He kicked Clayton right in the face. The impact was hard enough to make Clayton drop to the ground.

Clayton jumped away from being trampled and punched the ground in anger. This was not part of the plan! "Aaarrgh!"

Tarzan immediately headed to Kerchak and cut the ropes. Kerchak was in disbelief, Tarzan came back to save them.

"You came back," he spoke.

"I came home," Tarzan smiled.

Kerchak's eyes softened and later roared, punching a human away from Tarzan.

Terk and Tantor ran to set the gorillas free and beat the humans. Terk roared scaring some into cages. Terk smirked but gasped as a man pointed a spear at her. It didn't take long for Tantor to grab the man from his neck and throw him away to the cages.

Tarzan's plan is already set. He jumped around to cut the nets as Tantor and Terk saved them.

Clayton saw this and turned to his men. "You there! Take what you can back to the boat! I've got some hunting to do..." He walked away.
