It was a normal sunny day for the troop to eat their lunch. Except for one man.
Over the course of years, Tarzan grew into a refined strong man. His hair was still unruly but his handsome features took after his father and his caring eyes developed taking after his mother. And after these years, he still was not aware of his true form. He grew flexible and stronger than before.
All the years of living in the jungle made his senses stronger and his instincts grew as well in his surroundings. However, his playfulness never swayed.
Tarzan hid in the shadows and grinned. He quietly crawled behind his mother as she peeled a fruit. Just as he was about to scare her, she interrupted him.
"Don't even think about it," she deadpanned.
He blew a raspberry and swung in front of her, "How'd you know it was me?"
"I'm your mother. I know everything. Now, where have you been?"
Tarzan grabbed one of her fruits and smirked, "I thought you knew everything."
He grunts as he was suddenly tackled by Terk. "Hey, Auntie 'K'," Terk smiled. "You're looking remarkably groomed today."
"Hello, Terk," Kala deadpanned unimpressed.
Tarzan roared and tackled Terk, rolling and passed by Kerchak who shook his head at them. "Not the neck. Not the neck there, 'T'," Terk scolded.
They kept playing around, bumping into Tantor. "Whoa! Okay. It's all fun and games till someone loses an eye," Tantor moved away.
Terk and Tarzan ignored him and kept playing.
"Please stop. Somebody's going to get hurt," Tantor tried. "And it's always me. Please"
They rolled each other farther away and Terk hesitated as she got a cramp on her leg. Tarzan took his chance and put her in a chokehold.
"Okay, you win! Ow, ow! Okay! You win. Hello?" Terk winced.
Tarzan stopped and glanced at the trees in front of them and furrowed his brows. He frowned as he felt as if he was being watched. he wasn't sure where it comes from but he knows they weren't alone. Not noticing he was tightening his hold on Terk.
"Yo, Yo, let go!" Terk shouted.
Tarzan snapped out of his daze and let go, "Oh, sorry, Terk."
Terk coughed, holding her neck, "What kind of animal are you?!"
Tarzan moved to the front and narrowed his eyes at the trees. He doesn't know what it is, but he feels a bad feeling in there.
"I've been thinking lately that maybe Tarzan could be some subspecies of elephant," Tantor mused.
"What, are you crazy? An elephant?" Terk blinked.
"Listen to me. Think about it. He enjoys a peanut. I enjoy a peanut."
