Tarzan jumped and swung on the vines. He was excited about how his flame would react to the flowers he has chosen. He rushed more as he couldn't wait to see her again.
He dropped to the camp and stopped when he saw different men taking down the tents and taking everything away.
Tarzan frowned as Archimedes was chasing around for his stuff. Archimedes spotted him and sighed, "Oh, isn't this dreadful, Tarzan?" Suddenly he was picked up and taken away too.
Tarzan turned around to see barrels heading towards him and jumped over them. He moved away from everyone and looked around. He was confused. What is going on? Why are there so many people there?
"You're the captain! Just tell them you've had engine trouble, and give us two more days," Captain exclaimed.
Tarzan turned to where Clayton was and he was talking to a blue man with Jane.
"And be late at every port from here to London?" The captain asked in disbelief.
"We'll have come all this way for nothing," Jane tried.
"I'm sorry, Miss Porter, but I simply can't do it," The captain walked away.
"Agh! This is your fault! I should've followed my instincts, and set traps for the beasts," Clayton gruffed, pointing at her.
"Don't you think I'm disappointed about the gorillas? You are absolutely impos–" Jane bumped into Tarzan, ruining his flowers. "Tarzan! I was so afraid you wouldn't come in time." Jane sadly frowned.
"Brook?" Tarzan tilted his head.
Jane smiled at him, "Brook is packing her things over there." She pointed to the corner.
Tarzan spotted Brook and thanked Jane before going to her. He frowned as Brook hid her hair in a blue scarf.
Tarzan was walking towards her when there were two men who were poking her head. She ignored them but he can clearly see how uncomfortable she was.
By then, he was next to her and slapped the hands away from him. He glared at them and snarled for them to back off. The men rolled their eyes and walked away.
"You didn't have to do that, Tarzan," Brook sighed, not looking up. Afraid she would start crying if she saw him.
"What's happening?" Tarzan crouched in front of her. She refused to make eye contact.
She shakily sighed, "The boat's arrived. The boat that's come...to take us home to England."
Tarzan lifted her chin with his knuckle and saw her eyes swollen. He moved her luggage aside and grabbed her hands.
"Mr.Porter and Miss Jane and I were wond–well, I was wondering. Well, we really hope that you'll come with us. Won't you?" Brook asked.
"Go see England today, come home tomorrow," Tarzan smiled.
