"So that's it?" Yata glared at you as you shoved your last shirt into the bag. "You're really just going to leave?"

You ignored him, zipping your bag shut and lifting it off the bed, turning to head for the door. Saru, who was leaning against the door frame and watching silently, quickly moved out of your way as you went by. Yata growled from behind you and just as you reached the apartment door, his hand closed around your wrist, stopping you.

"Why are you acting like this?" He demanded, his eyes burning. You refused to look up at him, keeping your eyes on the floor. Your bag slipped from your shoulder and hit the floor with a light thud.

"You know why." You said quietly, a few tears rolling down your cheeks. Yata let out a frustrated growl, slamming his free hand against the wall just beside your head.

"Dammit Y/N! You're overreacting!"

"No, I'm not." You spoke up louder, finally moving your eyes to his. "You always put Mikoto before me, even when he doesn't need you. I respect Mikoto and look up to him just as much as you do Yata, but you've crossed the line were you completely ignore me. And the only time you do pay attention to me anymore is when you're yelling at me for complaining about you spending time around Mikoto."

"He's our King!" Yata stated angrily, as if that was point was enough. "For God sake Y/N, of course I'm going to spend time around him!"

I shook my head sadly. "Did you even listen to a word I just said?"

"Yes I did! And I don't ignore you! Saru, tell her she's overreacting!" Yata huffed, looking over to Saru, who now stood near the couch in silence. Saru narrowed his eyes a bit at Yata, peering through his glasses.

"She's not." He said, a bored tone to his voice, though you could tell he was irritated with Yata too. "She's right."

Yata gaped at our friend for a moment before glaring at him. "Fuck you!"

Saru simply shrugged, turning his attention fully towards me. "Do whatever you want. I suppose I'll see you around, should you come back."

I gave him a small smile, nodding my head towards him. Saru didn't show much emotion, beside's annoyance or sarcasm, but you could tell that that was his way of saying goodbye.

"Thank's, Saru." You smiled sadly. "I'll miss your sarcastic ass."

The small smile he returned was his way of saying that he would actually miss you too. With another nod of his head, Saru back out of the room and made his way towards his bedroom, leaving you and Yata alone.

Yata scoffed at the raven haired boy's back before turning his attention back towards you. "You're wrong." He said, his voice lower than before.

You gave him a sad look. "I don't think I am."

Yata stared intently at you, before releasing your wrist and placing his hands gently on the wall behind you, arms on either side of your head, trapping you. His eyes suddenly seemed to soften and he leaned in closer to you, his hot breath hitting you gently in the face. "I don't want you to go."

You looked up into his hazel eyes, tears still rolling down your face. "I don't want to go, but I can't stay either. Not when we're like this." You whispered. "I'm tired of being put last all the time, Yata."

"I never meant to do that to you." He said quietly, and you could tell he was sincere as he moved one hand from the wall to brush your tears away with his thumb. "I'm sorry."

You covered his hand on your cheek with your own, squeezing it tightly. "I know you didn't meant to." You said. "But you still did."

"I know, and I wish I could go back and do it over again so that you wouldn't get hurt, but I can't." He pressed his forehead against yours, hazel eyes locked onto yours. "But I swear to God, I'll do everything to make it up to you. Me ignoring you, pushing you away.....that will never happen again."

"It better not." You mumbled, squeezing his hand again.

"It won't." He promised. "I promise I'll get better at it. Fuck that, from now on I'll never let you of of my sight again. I'll be at your side at all times, even when you don't want me around."

Your heart fluttered and you couldn't help but laugh. "Shut up." You smiled, grabbing the back of his neck and pulling him into a kiss. Yata slowly moved his hand from your face and grabbed your waist, pulling you against him as he kissed you back.

You both knew that you weren't going anywhere now.

"Well," A bored voice spoke from behind you two. "I guess you're staying."

"Go away Saru." Yata growled before kissing you once more.
