Second part to "Pain"
WARNING: SENSITIVE CONTENT
You sat on one of the couches in the bar, your knee's pulled to your chest and your head resting on your arms that were crossed over you knees.
Izumo had closed the bar after what had happened almost a week ago. You'd wanted him to keep it open, but he insisted that being there for you was more important.
Yata and the other's had been looking for the man who raped you ever since you returned from the hospital that night, and up until today they hadn't found much on him. After a bit more research, they discovered where he was hanging out, in the bad part of town, and Yata had set off, fire in his eyes and bat in hand, Bandou, Shouhei, Rikio and even Mikoto following behind.
"You're family, Y/N," Bandou had said. "Nobody hurt's our family."
"No one messes with my Clansmen." Mikoto had growled. And off they had gone.
Now you were watching the clock, time seeming to move impossibly slow as you waited. Waited for justice, or maybe relief? Would you get any relief from this? You didn't know. All you could do was wait. Wait and find out.
Anna was watching you from the other couch, but you kept your eyes as far away from her as possible. You weren't upset with her, not at all, you just didn't want her to see what had happened to you. Sure, she knew you'd been hurt, but with her power, one glance into your eyes and she'd see everything. You couldn't let that happen.
"Y/N," Tatara spoke gently as he approached you. "Are you thirsty? Hungry? I can make you something if you'd like."
You gave a small, barley there shake of your head. "No thank you," You said quietly.
Despite your answer, Izumo got you a glass of water and brought it over. "You have to drink at least a little bit, please? You'll get dehydrated."
You looked up at him, saw the pleading look in his eyes, and took the glass without a word. You pretended not to notice them watching you, concern clear on their faces as you took small sips.
Ever since it happened, you'd hardly spoken a word except when you absolutely had to, you'd been staring off into space, getting lost in dark thoughts and having horrible nightmares of that night, and they'd all noticed.
Your skin was pale and you'd already lost a few pounds, and you were honestly scaring the crap out of your Clan. They could tell you were slowly fading away.
You set the glass down after a few more sips and curled back up into your tight little ball, resting your head against the arm of the couch. You shivered and in seconds, Tatara had grabbed a blanket and laid it over you, tucking your bare feet in. You wanted to smile, to thank him and apologize to him and all the others, but you just couldn't find the strength to. So instead you blinked up at him, hoping he understood, and then closed your eyes.
You'd only been laying there for an hour or so, when the doors flew open and Mikoto came in, Yata storming inside after and the others following behind. You opened your eyes and looked over, seeing a bit of blood on Yata's hands.
Pushing yourself up, you looked to Yata as he threw his bat to the ground. "Did you kill him?"
Yata nearly jumped, head shooting up to you. You'd been so quiet that he hadn't realized you were in the room. His shoulders slouched, face turning hard with anger. "No."
You felt disappointing, yet a small part of you was glad he hadn't killed him. "Why?"
Yata couldn't tell what you were feeling, your voice was void of any emotion. "A bunch of his buddies showed up as we were kickin' his pathetic ass. There were too many of 'em, it would have drawn too much attention to Homra. They helped him get away before we could finish his ass kicking."
You gave the smallest of nods, accepting this answer. You didn't want Homra in hot water just because of what had happened to you, even though you knew they'd gladly hunt them all down and kill everyone of them right now, if you wanted.
And you wanted it.
"I'm going for a walk." You stated numbly, the blanket falling completely off you as you stood.
All their eyebrows shot up, Yata setting his hands on your shoulders. "Whoa, Y/N. I don't think that's a good idea."
"It's just a walk. I'll be back soon."
The lack of emotion, of anything in your voice and expression was starting to scare him. "Then I'll come with you."
"I want to be alone." You mumbled, looking up at him. Yata flinched, eyes widening a bit at the lifeless look in yours. You walked around him, ignoring all the protest's from him and the others as you walked out the doors.
You wanted that man dead. You realized now why you were relieved that Yata hadn't killed your rapist. It was because you wanted to kill him yourself.
You told them you'd be back soon, but you didn't go back at all.
