(A/N) I'M USING THE NAME AKEMI BECAUSE I JUST REALLY LIKE IT, BUT YOU CAN (and obviously will) IMAGINE WHATEVER NAME YOU LIKE IN "AKEMI'S" PLACE. IT'S EASIER FOR ME TO USE AN ACTUAL NAME, RATHER THAN GOING D/N (daughters name) EVERY TIME I MENTION HER. SO, YEAH. ALSO, ENJOY THE PICTURE ABOVE OF YATA BEING TOTALLY ADORABLE AND TEARING MY HEART TO SHREDS. NOW THEN, READ ON!
After giving birth in the back room of the bar, you were happy to be in your own private hospital room to have your daughter and yourself checked out properly.
Now, an hour and a half after having given birth, you were resting back against a bunch of pillows, watching Yata as he held Akemi in the chair beside your bed.
"I can't wait until you can start learning how to skateboard," He said to the newborn. "I'll teach you ever trick I know and you'll be able to come to skate park with daddy and we can show off for mommy. And I'll teach you self defense, too. I'll protect you forever, babe, but you'll still need to know how to fight in case of emergency."
You smiled as you listened to everything he was saying, the loving look he was giving your daughter completely melting your heart. There was no doubt that he was already wrapped around her little finger.
Both you and Yata looked up as there was a sudden knock on the door. "Come in," You called, and a smiling nurse peeked her head inside.
"How are you feeling Miss Y/N?" She asked as she fully stepped into the room. "Any pain or discomfort?"
"No," You shook your head with a smile. "I'm feeling pretty good right now."
She nodded, writing something down on the clipboard she was holding. "That's good. In that case, there are some people here to see you, if you're feeling up to it?"
You grinned, already knowing who she was talking about. "Absolutely."
She smiled, moving to the door. "Alright, I'll send them in then. And I'll be back later to do another check up. Just use your call button if you need anything before then."
You nodded and she excited the room. It wasn't long before you heard the familiar voices of your clansmen in the hallway and you shared a look with Yata as you heard a different nurse scold them for being too loud.
"Knock knock," Izumo peeked around the door as he tapped it twice. "Can we come in?"
"Of course," You gestured for him to step inside and he did, along with the rest of your clan. "Hey guys."
"Hey there new parents," Tatara grinned, moving over to the bed to hug you, then Yata, being extra careful not to crush the newborn in his arms. "Wow, is it possible that she's gotten even more gorgeous in the past hour or so?"
You smiled at your friends words, looking at your daughter as she opened her eyes at the new voice. "She gets prettier every second."
Tatara nodded in agreement as he took a seat in one of the chairs along the wall, followed by Izumo and Mikoto, and Anna who plopped herself in Mikoto's lap. "That she does."
"So, how are you feeling Y/N?" Izumo asked, leaning back in his chair as the rest of the boys gave you a hug and then scattered around the room.
"Pretty good, considering I just gave birth in the back of the bar." You teased, making them all laugh. "Sorry about that mess, but the way."
Izumo just shrugged it off. "Don't worry about it."
Anna was eyeing the pink bundle in Yata's arms closely and it wasn't long before Yata noticed, a smile growing on his face. "Do you want to hold her, Anna?"
