"You are free to leave."Y/n couldn't believe what she was hearing. She was free? She could go back home and see her brother? She could finally go back to work on her farm? Her eyes widened in disbelief.
"What?"
"I should have never kept you here against your will. I was very wrong and I see that now. So, you have my permission to go back to your home. I would never disturb your family for taxes again and you would never have to see my face."
Jimin didn't want her to leave but he felt like he was loving her in the wrong way. He locked her up in the palace and forcefully kissed her just to prove a point. That's not the kind of love he wanted.
He got up from her bed and grabbed his blouse that was laying on the floor. "I will order some guards to escort you back to your home by sunrise." The prince of Grogia was about to sample out of the room when y/n spoke up.
"Wait!" She exclaimed as the prince turned back to her. "I...I don't...know what to say."
Jimin gave her a tight lipped smile as he squeezed his hands in the hopes of comforting his aching heart, "There is no need to thank me...just promise me you will be safe."
Y/n nodded her head slowly, placing the tray on the small table beside her bed. She got up and trotted to the prince, standing directly in front of him which made him smile lightly. "I was not going to thank you." His smile turned to a frown. "I was going to say that...I am not leaving."
The blonde haired prince's eyes widened in surprise. He didn't think he was hearing things correctly. His heart was swelling with happiness but his face had confusion written all over it. He blinked at her, "You are not...?"
She could not just get up and leave him like that. She realized that Jimin had finally learnt from his mistakes and maybe he was ready to change. She could make him a better king.
Maybe she could help him.
Maybe. Just maybe.
"I believe you can become a better person but you will need someone to teach you how to. I am volunteering myself to be that person. I will teach you how to become a better king." Y/n stated, staring deep into his eyes. The Prince couldn't help but stare back. It's like she was enchanting him as she spoke.
Nobody had ever tried to change the way the Prince behaved. They always did whatever he said, no questions asked. She was the first person who ever thought of changing the way he thinks and acts. Even Namjoon didn't bother changing him.
She suddenly grabbed his left hand and intertwined their fingers together. "I believe you can become a great king." She wanted to motivate him as much as she could because she was personally tired of all the problems the kingdom was going through.
Jimin felt his cheeks heat up at her words. It was a very new feeling to him. Blushing. He barely does it, he mostly makes others blush. But here he was blushing at her encouraging words....or maybe it was the fact they were so close to each other. Or maybe it was the fact that she was holding his hand.
He didn't understand what it was.
But all he knew was she was driving him crazy.
"Thank you....for believing in me." With that said, he rushed out of her room, closing the door shut behind him. His heart raced as he leaned against the door of her bedroom.
He was going to become better.
Just for her.
