That night, Jimin asked y/n to have dinner with him. She could barely concentrate on the food she was eating because she was thinking about her brother.

She still couldn't believe she agreed to stay in the palace with this pompous prince. Now she was eating an expensive meal, with expensive cutlery. Heck, even the water looked like it could buy her house tenfold, but her brother was probably eating plain rice right now, that is, if he could bring himself to eat.

How could she be eating?

They sat on a long dining table in a beautifully decorated room. Y/n and the Prince sat on the opposite ends of the table. She was far away but Jimin couldn't help but stare at her from where he sat. He eventually noticed that she was not eating so he spoke up, "What's wrong darling? Is the food not good enough? Because if it isn't I promise you, I wouldn't hesitate to have the chef hanged."

Y/n gave him a shocked look as she quickly said, "No! There is absolutely no need for that."

"So what's the matter darling?"

Y/n inwardly cringed at the word darling. She let out a sigh and forced a smile, "It's nothing, your highness."

Jimin's hand tightened around the innocent fork he was holding, knuckles turning white at the tightness of the clenched fist.

He asked her a question, why can't she answer it honestly?

He glared at the girl in front of him, who only continued to pick at the food in her plate. He inhaled heavily, jaw clenched as he spoke with gritted teeth, "Are you sure? It doesn't seem like nothing to me."

Another forced smile, "It's nothing you should be worried about, your highness."

Jimin banged his clenched fist on the table, making the contents on the table shake, and the water you were reaching for tip over and soil the tablecloth.

Y/n looked up at the man shocked. "Lies." He said in a deep and husky voice. She watched in confusion as he raised a hand, and a nearby guard rushed to attend to him, his eyes trained on her the whole time.

"Escort her back to her room." He said as he stood up from his chair, chin high in the air as he continued to look at her, reminding her that she was and always will be below him. "We are done with dinner." With that said, he turned and left the dining room.

The guard bowed as he walked past him, before coming up to stand behind the confused girl. Y/n stood up, shocked at the sudden turn of events and followed the guard back to the room she would be staying in for the next month.

Jimin made his way through the halls to go back to his room, his hands clasped behind him, and hair bouncing with his angry movements.

His footsteps was all that could be heard in the silence of the hallways, until the sound of metal coming his way could also be heard.

"Why so upset, your highness?" A deep voice asked, coming up beside him.

"Drop the formalities Taehyung. It's just us." Annoyance was still clear in his voice as he opened the door to his room, Taehyung not thinking twice before entering after him.

Jimin hurried to take off his cape and undo the top buttons of his dress shirt. "What got you all worked up?" The knight asked, making himself comfortable on the king sized bed.

"It's nothing." The prince said through a clenched jaw as he proceeded to take off his shirt and slip into a silk night shirt.

He asked a question, why couldn't she just answer it honestly. Why did she have to be so difficult? Girls would literally cry at his feet, just for him to ask what was wrong with them, then he would help them forget their problems.
