"I'm gonna kill you the next time you say on more stupid remarks Jonathan" that's Ben him and Johnny always fight it's endless and quite exhausting. I ran outside and went to hug Susan then reed. "There's my favorite girl how ya doing kiddo?" Ben asked. "I'm ok thank you how's Licia doing Ben?" I asked while hugging Ben. "She's great the kids too Gigi misses you" I smiled and then turned to Johnny and went to hug him.
"Damn you got beautiful Gia how long has it been?" Johnny he's a handful to say the least but I went to school and college with him. "Come inside all of you everyone else is waiting" they all nodded and headed into the meeting room and greeted everyone. James leaned over to Steve and Natasha. "Who are they?" Nat laughed. "I'm surprised Gia's never told you that's Ben Reed Susan and mr hottie is Giannas first ex boyfriend" Steve explained.
"Why'd they break up?" James asked as Johnny and Gianna walked over to them. "James meet Johnny and JJ this is James" Johnny smirked at James and shook his hand. "Nice to meet the guy Gia won't shut up about remind me of myself and Clara" I laughed and then smacked Johnny. "Always making it at you Johnny but we have bigger issues at hand to settle" I interrupted.
They nodded and we all gathered for the meeting my dad gathered. "Ok so before you all got here to the compound Gianna gave us some very interesting information" dad announced.
-Time skip 1 month later-
It's been exactly one month since reed Ben Johnny and sue joined us and we've been training to get stronger or at least bucky and I have been. "So where are Steve and Natasha at?" Sam asked us. "They went on a grocery shopping run" I replied. Something felt off like another attack was coming. "Angel what's wrong?" James wrapped his arms around me. "Somethings wrong I can feel it like we're gonna get attacked" then on cue Sharon and Susan ran over to us out of breath. "What is it?" I asked.
"We have no time we need to get to the hospital now!" Sue sounded distraught. "Why what's wrong?" James asked. "Steve and Nat they've been hurt bad" I looked at James terrified and he felt it too. Somebody is gonna die.
James, Sue, Sharon, and I drove to the hospital, driving so fast it felt like we were flying. As soon as we get there I rush to the waiting room and I see my mom and dad in the waiting room. I rush to my mom with tears in my eyes. "What happened?" My voice shaky. "They we're just out together and somebody recognized them and shot them both." Tony speaks.
James grips my shoulders and i turn around to see him with tears filling his eyes. "Where are they now?" His voice low but loud enough for my dad to hear. "The last time we heard anything they were in surgery." I sigh and sit down trying not to think of what could happen. I cried myself to sleep in James laps.
Three hours go by and I wake up to James shaking me. A doctor came to speak to all of us. "What's happening? Are they okay?" The doctor looks at us and i immediately knew they were gone. "I'm sorry, but Steve and Natasha are gone. We tried everything in surgery even though they kept crashing." He speaks a little more but my ears tune everything out. Tears flood my eyes and flow like rivers. James grabs ahold of me and holds me tight.
I push out of James arms and rush outside. Why did this have to happen to them. It's not fair. "I don't want you to be alone right now." James says after following me when i ran out. "Please just go." My voice shakes. "We need each other right now. We're going to get revenge for this. I want to watch whoever did this suffer." He balls his fist and anger glazes his eyes. "You promise?" I look up at him. "I will do anything and everything to avenge their lives." He holds me close. "Let's go home." I whisper.
