-The next day-
I woke up to the sound of our bathroom shower going off and knocks on our door. "You had better be upngia or so help me I'll drag your pregnant ass out of bed and I don't care if your fiancé is naked or not" I couldn't help but laugh just as James walked out with only a towel around his waist. "Ok I'm combing in!" Wanda shouted and she opened the door looked at me in and then to James who was still wet. "Seriously you can't go one day without sex can you two?" Wanda groans. "Um we didn't Wands James was up before me besides I was just about to get up so we can go speak with Maddison" James gives me a confused look.
"The wedding planner James, that's who she's talking about" Wanda assured James. "I don't like you girls going alone especially with the funeral being tonight and Gia being pregnant" I kissed James. "Don't worry loki and t hi or are coming with us just in case" I caressed his cheek. "Fine just be careful ok?" I nodded and continued to get dressed. "Are my favorite ladies ladies ready? The chariot awaits." Loki mocks Thor making us laugh. We head downstairs and get into the car to drive into town but with triple security. "There she is! Gigi!" I smile and walk over to hug my old high school best friend Maddison. "And what's this about you asking your bestie to plan your wedding?" I grin looking at my engagement ring.
"And that I'm pregnant so we want this wedding before the baby is born" I think the look on her face said it all. "That reminds me I gotta meet James at the doctors to see how the baby is doing" it was a highlight of our lives. For the next couple of hours we've been talking about different things but one things for sure this wedding needs to happen in the next couple months.
-back to james pov-
"So what is the plan regarding Gia and the bab6?" Steve asked me as my mind was else where worrying about my fiancé and our baby. "Bucky the meeting" Scott got my attention snapping me out of my trance. "Sorry I've got a lot on my mind what was the question?" Steve sighs. "What is our plan?" Steve asks. Ins high and massage my temples. "Gia and I want the wedding in the next couple months so we can focus on the arrival of our baby"
"Why so soon? I understand you want to take care of the baby, but seriously are you sure?" I nod quickly. "Yes i am. Never been more sure about anything." Steve gives me that stupid grin. "You know, I always thought you we're going to be a hard ass for the rest of your life." I give him a glare. "Shut up." I laugh.
"Hey Steve?" He comes back into the room from his office. "Yeah? what's up?" He gives me a concerned look. "Anything on Katie and Tyler?" He looks at me weird. "No? Why what's wrong?" I sigh. "They are meeting with some old mafia people." He looks at me stunned. "How? They took out every mafia around here?" I look at him. "I don't think those mafias fell. I think they bought them out and now they work under them." His eyes go wide. "So you're saying like protection?" I sigh. "That's exactly what i'm saying."
Back to Gia POV
"Hey Maddison? I got to get going." She smiles and gives me a hug. "I got the rest settled but you and James need to go cake testing and pick out flowers and think of the food you want to cater." I smile. "I'll make sure he knows." I hug her again. "You're the best. I'll see you soon." Loki and Thor escort me and Wanda out.
We meet James at the doctors office. "Hey babe." He kisses me on the forehead. "Hi." I smile. "You're nervous." How does he read me like a book. I hate it. "I just want to know everything is okay." He smiles and hold my cheeks in his hands. "Everything will be just fine my love." We head upstairs and check in at the front desk. "Miss Stark?" We get up and follow her back to the room. She checks my vitals and her check board. "The doctor will be with you shortly." She smiles and leaves. "Stop babe. Everything will be fine." Before I could say anything the doctor comes in. "Miss Stark. How are you?" I smile. "Im good." I lay down and she puts this cold jelly on my stomach and starts scanning. "Well there they are." I look and start tearing up and so does James. "They are healthy as can be." Then James and I froze for a second. "I'm sorry did you say they?" James asked stunned. "Yes you see #1 right there and then right next to them is #2" it took James a while to process what information we were given. "That changes a lot" I added making James look like he was about to pass out. We talk about everything and finish up the appointment. We head out and finally get back to the house. And as we walked in James passed out. "Uh Steve!!! Sam!!!" I yelled.
