Torra
"You didn't- don't want any of this? .....Us?" I asked, a little broken already.
"I barely know you." Nala blandly said.
That was my breaking point. The person I loved, the person I shared a bed with didn't even know me. "Are you parents still alive? Do you have any brothers or sisters? What did you train in? Who did you work for? Why do you know English? Why did you work for Sasha?" Nala listed. "I have no idea who you are."
Nothing, absolutely nothing could make me feel the same way Nala is making me feel now. I could have my heart ripped from my chest and that would be a freaking cakewalk compared to this. "You- you're serious?" I croaked pathetically.
Nala pursed her lips and nodded. "I have known you for a month and we have already kissed, groped, and you popped my cherry." Nala explained.
"I what?!" I yelled.
"Remember the Bunker?" Nala shook her head.
"I always thought-"
"Almost. A few times actually." Nala said, like it was completely normal to hook up with your cellmate. "That isn't the point. We did so much and I barely know you. I don't know who you are. And until then, until I figure these things out on my own, I don't want to be with anyone." Nala's face rested expressionless, but a single tear rolled down her cheek. "Please leave." Nala choked.
"You're serious?"
"Yes." Nala confirmed. "I'm not going to say please again." Nala turned and wiped her eyes, shaking the tear off her finger. "Go." Nala croaked.
"It shouldn't be like this. You shouldn't be like this." I begged, hoping for some mercy.
"I need you to go before Bowie and Liam drag you out." Nala whimpered as her eyes glossed over. "Please, just go." Nala dismissed and headed to the bath room. She slammed the door shut, hopefully trusting me enough to show myself out. In the bath room, Nala had bumped into a table, something fine until it tipped over and Nala with it.
"Nala!" I yelled, rushing through the door. Nala had fallen with her face in the bath water. If she had just tripped, she would have been well out of it by now. I pulled Nala's shoulders back and let her rest on the ground, straightening out her legs."Nala! Wake up!" I yelled, shaking her shoulders the way she had mine. I leaned over and listened for breathing, only to be greeted with shallow, hollow breaths. I pulled her robe together before running out and finding somebody, anybody to help. "Help! Somebody!" I yelled, running down the spiral stairs to the throne room.
"Where did you come from?" Andi asked.
"Come with me! Get a doctor!" I yelled.
"How would I get doctor if you want me to go with you?" Andi pointed out.
"It's Nala dammit!"
"Aw shit!" Andi turned into the throne room. "Get a doctor! It's Nala!" She yelled. Sasha, Anya, Liam and Bowie jumped up and followed me. I ran up the stairs, taking three at a time. We all ran to the room, barging through the door. Liam and Bowie ran ahead of me to the bathroom. "Lift her onto the bed." Andi advised. Liam and Bowie obliged.
"What the hell did you do to my daughter?!" Anya yelled at me.
Sasha pulled her aside and grabbed her shoulders forcefully. "I promise if someone were to attack Nala, Torra definitely wouldn't be guilty." Sasha nodded, patronizing Anya.
