Jonah

Her hand was swelling already. She whimpered as I touched her skin. How could I be so stupid? He had an entire arm clamped around her and I just told him to back off?

"Can you . . . we go back to the cabin?" She corrected herself weakly.

"Yeah, let's go." I put my arm over her and pushed through the crowd back to the tiny cabin Aurora has us staying at. She held up her hand in front of her face, recoiling at the sight. Her middle finger crossed her ring finger unnaturally. "Hey." I caught her attention and she looked up with glossy eyes. "I'll set it." I said, holding open the cabin door for her. The four-poster bed had drapes hanging from the top, actual rose petals sprinkled on the covers.

"Is she serious?" Nala breathed out.

I opened the sheer curtains around the bed and pulled the duvet off the bed. Nala sat down on the bed, still staring at her finger. She grabbed her finger and tried to pull it back into place, biting down on her lip to keep quiet.

"Don't do that. You might hurt yourself even more." I told her, and she stopped immediately, dabbing the inner corner of her eyes. "Im going to reduce it, okay?" I asked slowly, earning a brave nod. I grabbed her finger with my right hand, holding down the rest with my left. "I'm going to count down." I told calmly. I've seen my brothers in her position way too many times that I know what I'm doing."Three . . . two." Before finishing, I pulled her finger as hard as I could back into place, and before she could pull her hand back from me, I shoved her finger back into the small socket.

She yelled in agony. Its was almost too much for me. "What the hell was that?!" She yelled, falling back onto the mattress. the door to the cabin, that had been locked, was busted down by a muscular man with an unsheathed sword.

"Torra?" Nala said excitedly, smiling when the man looked back at her. He dropped his sword in surprise. I just stood in the corner in awe.

"What the hell did he do to you?" Torra pulled on her good hand for her to stand up and hugged her.

"I broke my hand. I think." Nala laughed into his shoulder. "You came." Nala was so relieved it was insulting.

"You shouldn't be here." I grabbed onto Torra's shoulder and pulled him off Nala.

"He should. He has to." Nala reasoned.

"And why is that?" I stepped forward at Nala, who held her hand up to keep Torra from killing me.

Nala looked over to the bed and back at me. She wasn't going to . . . consummate. "I won't. Torra is making sure of that." Nala persuaded.

"We could just wait for another night . . ." I suggested.

"No. I'm not doing that with you, no matter what your mother has in mind." Nala laughed like it was normal. "You know Aurora is his mom?" Nala told Torra.

"No way." Torra chuckled.

"It makes since though, both are maniacs trying to get me pregnant." Nala's words sliced deeper than any sword. "It is really creepy and the pervert thing isn't working for you." She said with a mean voice.

"Time's up!" A man outside yelled. "Your turn's done!" A man barged through the door, the same from earlier that broke my hand. "Ew. I'm not doing a four-way." He recoiled at the sight of all of us.

"We aren't doing anything. I thought your jaw was a clear 'no'." Nala barked.

"Not what pretty boy said." The man's face turned smug, his eyes darting between me and Torra. He walked up to Nala, pulling her by the waist onto him. The rat man grabbed a handful of her hair and pulled her head up, kissing her neck aggressively.
