Nala
"No fucking way." I smiled horribly bright, shaking my head in disbelief. Out of nowhere, I started laughing so hard that I hurt. "You decided to tell me now? Instead of making me believe you just didn't care, you could've at least told me that you had picked up your crap and moved on to another family." I walked towards her, still smiling.
"I'd like you to meet your sister." Anya stepped to the side to show a seven year old girl.
"Are you serious?"
"Do not talk to your mother like that." The mystery husband ordered.
"I mean this as respectfully as it can be, shut up." I insulted. The man looked horribly shocked. "Oh, your majesty." I smiled and curtsied, never bending far enough to it actually amounts to a bow.
"Watch your tone!" He threatened while walking towards me.
I could smell his breath we had gotten so close. "Personal space much? Do you want to step back?"
"Not for the likes of you."
"Then excuse me." I smiled legitimately and turned, hearing the man scoff in victory. I turned around and slapped him across the face, a bit of facial scruff scratching my hand. He bent down out of force, slowly standing. My knuckles ached but it was worth it. "By the way, I'm Nala." I greeted before going to sit down on the throne. Torra held out his fist, mine hitting in the ultimate victory: that against an egotistical douche with an authority complex.
"I expected him to walk you down the aisle." Anya mentioned.
"Fuck no. It has already been decided that Torra is. I'd like to leave the matter alone now."
"Not exactly." Joseph stepped forward nervously. "A collection of political leaders did agree that you should not be able to make these choices alone."
"Just an hour ago you tried to convince me to have a bunch of people I don't know watch me have sex. I am not going to let those decisions be made for me." I reasoned. "As I said earlier when my fiancee and I are not strangers, I would accept your conditions."
"It is no longer a choice." Aurora forced. "You will have a supervised honeymoon and you will conceive an heir and you will sign over your assets to Jonah because you cannot afford anything else. You need peace and this is how you get it." She almost demanded that.
"Considering I am a princess, and the only heir of age to the Snowwalker throne, I would think the inheritance of such a strong army and an abundance of farmlands would be enough to keep you from shouting orders at me." I teased.
"Actually . . ." Anya's husband began.
''Do not finish that sentence."
"I believe it should be time for you to get ready for the wedding." Joseph reminded.
"Already? I thought it had only been an hour."
"Yes. Wedding at eleven, departure at twelve." Aurora clarified rudely.
"I will go to get dressed now."
"My ladies-" Aurora began about her annoying, inconsiderate ladies.
"Should not be inconvenienced. My handmaidens would gladly help." I did not want to spend another minute with anyone from the Rockline.
Sanding up, Andi, Sasha, and Torra followed me out of the throne room to my bedroom.
"That was awful. She has a kid." I gagged.
"Oh my god." Sasha laughed half-heartedly.
