Rosa's POV

*

After playing on the bungee trampoline with a giggling Greta, we moved to the playhouse filled with cars, toys and child-friendly power bikes.

"Do you like this one?" Gonzalo asked Greta, who was looking around in excitement. "Wanna play?"

"Playyy. I gluuu...play." Greta babbled and Gonzalo's eyes instantly shone as if he'd just been given a million dollar contract.

He motioned for the staff member on standby and the lady quickly approached us.

"Yes sir?"

"I need this place."

"Okay, would you like to o-"

"Clear this room, I'll have her alone here."

"B- sir," the woman started but I cut her off.

"Gonzalo, no. There are other children playing around as well and it wouldn't be fair to them." I told him but he shot me a look.

The woman smiled stiffly and tried to persuade him. "Why don't you just leave your daughter to us? We'll monitor her just fine and no one will cause-"

"Romeo." Gonzalo grunted and left the woman there while she was still explaining.

I rolled my eyes. "Gonzalo, I think she's right. I can watch Greta closely, we don't need to buy out the room for her safety. The children here can't do her any harm. Especially when she has two grown adults watching her."

Gonzalo looked like he was about to argue with me but thankfully, Romeo came in just then along with a middle aged man in glasses.

"Good day Mr Romano, you requested for my presence sir?" The man asked, his voice trembling a little as he adjusted his tie.

Was this man afraid of Gonzalo? I could see his forehead already gathering sweat.

"Yes. I want this place for myself, so have them vacate the room immediately."

The man did as Gonzalo requested and the other children were ushered out of the room while he basically ignored the grumbling of their parents or guardians. Even though the so called parents wanted to argue, they couldn't do so, seeing the amount of bodyguards and also because of the dark aura emitting off Gonzalo at the moment.

"Gonzalo you're mainly being unreasonable. What you did now was uncalled for."

"Shut it Rosa. Today is for Greta and Leonardo so give them whatever they want and make use of every opportunity you have to keep them both happy and safe. Moreover, those children are too noisy and it might irritate our cute Greta." He chuckled and carried her to sit in one of the cars.

What did he mean by me making use of every opportunity to keep my siblings safe? Of course I wanted them to always be safe and happy but I wouldn't do all that at the expense of other children's happiness.

Especially when it was something that could be accommodated.

He placed her on the car that started to go round on the rail track and Greta's giggles filled the air. I brought out my phone and recorded this scene because she just looked so cute with Gonzalo walking beside her while the car moved around.

After a few minutes, Gonzalo carried her out. When I reached forward to carry her from him, he moved away without even giving me a look.

I gaped at him. Was this a ploy for him to steal my little sister's heart?
