"So...who would like to start?" Clara sat in the corner behind Sam and Bucky...by the door. She sat there with her clipboard, looking back and forth between Sam and Bucky. They both had a giant gap between them. What happened to these two? Finally, Sam sat up in his chair.

"Alright, look, Dr. Raynor. I get it, why you want me to talk to Freaky Magoo over here." Clara was pretty sure that Sam forgot that she was in the room, but she decided to stay neutral for this therapy session. Here both sides of the story...whatever the story was. "But...I'm one-hundred percent fine. Sam was about to get up from his chair, but Dr. Raynor gave him this look that was intimidating enough to make him slowly sit back down. She sighed, and rested her hands on the table.

"It is my job to make sure that you're okay...in this case, meaning both of you. Clara over there seems to have no problem with either of you, so I don't see why you guys have to have conflict with each other. So yes, what we are doing right now is a little unprofessional, but it's the only way to see if you're getting over whatever's eating at you." Bucky just scoffed and Sam shook his head, irritated.

"This is ridiculous." Sam commented.

"Yeah, I agree." Bucky said softly and just as irritated. Dr. Raynor clasped her hands together.

"Look! Making progress already. So....who wants to go first?" She repeated and no one responded. "No volunteers? Surprising." She said sarcastically and Clara chuckled a bit. "Okay, we are going to do an exercise. It's something I use with couples when they are trying to figure out what kind of life they are trying to build together. Are you familiar with the miracle question?" Clara silently laughed in her corner, but she stopped as soon as Dr. Raynor saw her. "It may seem like a silly thing to do with these two Ms. Peters, but it's been proven that the miracle question can be very effective. And with these two and their...issues...I think its exactly what they need, right boys?"

"No," Sam argued.

"Absolutely not." Bucky agreed once again.

"Anyways...it goes like this: Suppose that while you were sleeping, a miracle occurs. When you wake up, what is something that you would like to see that would make your life better." Nobody spoke. "Clara, would you mind starting us off?" Clara sat up in her chair and nodded.

"Uh yeah...sure. I mean...I guess it's kind of obvious, but I would like for these two to finally get along. They would be a miracle for everyone." Dr. Raynor nodded.

"Thank you. Now, anyone else?"

"In my miracle..." Bucky started. Thank god, at least he's cooperating. "He would...he would talk less." I stand corrected. Clara rolled her eyes.

"Exactly what I was gonna say. Isn't that ironic?" Sam and Bucky glared at each other and Clara made eye contact with Dr. Raynor. They made a silent agreement and Dr. Raynor ended the tension before it started.

"You guys leave me no choice. It's time for the soul-gazing exercise." Bucky sat up in his chair.

"I like this better." Bucky said.

"Oh, god. He's gonna love this." Sam commented. "This is right up your alley," he motioned his hand towards Bucky.

"Alright," Dr. Raynor raised her voice to get their attention. "Turn your chairs and face each other."

"Oh you are going to enjoy this," Sam said as he turned his chair. Bucky laughed and nodded.

"I am going to." Bucky replied.
